- 3. Summary In this chapter, we explored ways to function as part of a team. We saw that there are stages to team development and ways to build consensus. We looked at rules that good team members follow to make meetings and communication work more efficiently. We also saw that technology can play a part by making collaboration easier even if team members cannot meet in person.
- 4. Question 9! 9. What ways can be used to reach a decision in a team meeting? It requires that everyone or nearly everyone agree with the final decision. Your team must consider each option and its consequences whenever making a decision. When giving your opinion, don’t seek conflict, but don’t avoid it to keep peace.
- 5. Question 10! Give an example of a way that technology can be used as part of the collaborative process. Technology can allow teams to collaborate even if they don't meet in person. Email can be used to share files needed to put together a presentation. As well as with video conferencing details can be exchanged.
- 6. Discussion Question 5 What kinds of tasks are most appropriate for a team? The tasks that are important for a team is to learn how to make decisions together, communication accurately, have meetings often, and make sure there is a leader looking after their team.
