B Corps are certified by the nonprofit B Lab to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. The B Corp movement, which grew out of the U. S., now includes more certified B Corps outside of the U. S. and a growing number in Europe. B Corp’s 2016 Best for The World list recognizes companies that have a long-term ambition to help restore the planet’s natural resources and benefit communities while responsibly growing the business globally.
