5. LOCATION
Entrance to LuLu Mall, Kochi
LuLu International Shopping Mall is located at Edappally Junction, in the city of Kochi at
the junction of three major highways – NH 47, NH 17, and the Kochi Bypass. The
opening of the mall has caused a major traffic bottleneck in the area, and
the NHAI along with the civic body is planning to construct a flyover above NH 47 and
NH 17. They are temporarily using the government-owned land available on either side
of the road to enable motorists a free left turn.[10][11][12] The LuLu Group has built its own
self-contained city in the areas surrounding the mall. In recent years, the mall
management gradually procured the needed land

LuLu Hypermarket is on the ground floor. It covers
an area of 25,800 square metres (278,000 sq ft)
selling fresh, frozen, canned foods, fruits and
vegetables, along with meat and poultry sections,
bakery section, hot food counters etc.
LuLu Fashion Store is on the first floor. It covers
an area of 13,500 square metres (145,000 sq ft) of
shop floor, selling items like garments, footwear,
luggage, white goods, cosmetics, electronic goods
etc.
The International home furnishing store covers an
area of 49,500 square metres (533,000 sq ft)
