Government of Cyprus announced on May 2013 the
new and accelerated procedure for granting
immigration permits to applicants who are third
country nationals and intend to invest in Cyprus.
The new procedure is faster and has more favourable
outcome for most of the applicants as the process
should not take longer than 2 months.
No interview, no personal visit to the ministry.

16. Cyprus // Procedure for Permanent residency
Individuals who purchase a property with a value of over €300.000 have the right to apply
for Cyprus PR.
Once they purchase the property they are able to live in the country immediately with a
temporary residence permit. However there is no minimum residence time required in
Cyprus. After a short period no more than 2 months, applicants will receive from the
government of Cyprus their Permanent Residence.
The permit applies to husband, wife and all children under the age of 18, however for
unmarried dependent children older than 18 to 25 years a separate application can be
submitted. The Cyprus Permanent Residence is for life time.

Paphos (Greek: Πάφος) is a coastal city in

km (31.07 mi) west of Limassol (the biggest

Paphos Airport is commonly used by
