FOR SELF BRANDING?
1) BLOGGING
 Make a blog on the topic you like.
 Among the questions you might consider:
 What is the “one thing” that everyone says you rock at?
 What are your passions and interests?
 What do you read about most often online?
 Will you still be interested in this particular area six months or a
year from now?
 Blog www.brandgiri.wordpress.com is about strategies and brand
reviews.
 Get inspired by famous bloggers.
 Do qualitative research and share with key influencers in
the industry.
For example, a HR student can do a research on
“motivational factors for startup employees”

 Use your blog as a follow up tool (Brand Recognition) post
interviews.
 Examples:
A finance student will make a list of shares that he feels are good picks
because of XYZ……. reasons. He will work on EPS, Debt Equity ratio, etc.
and make his analysis.
A marketing student will work on a strategy for the company he is interested
in working for. What is the current strategy, what do you suggest, how will it
benefit and so on.
An architect student can make a Green Building model that saves energy.
An HR student will draft policy for start-up companies.
 Write a guest post for other websites as a Brand Awareness
technique

 Tips to optimize your profile

o Use keywords in profile
o Focus on accomplishments
 Add more and more people

classroom presentations
 Search for relevant contacts

 Follow your LinkedIn contacts on twitter as well.
 Look for influencers from your desired industry
 Mention key people in relevant
tweets.

  • 7. 1) BLOGGING  Make a blog on the topic you like.  Among the questions you might consider:  What is the “one thing” that everyone says you rock at?  What are your passions and interests?  What do you read about most often online?  Will you still be interested in this particular area six months or a year from now?  Blog www.brandgiri.wordpress.com is about strategies and brand reviews.

What is the current strategy, what do you suggest, how will it benefit and so on. An architect student can make a Green Building model that saves energy. An HR student will draft policy for start-up companies.
