Hi, I’m Suzanne Pearce, one of the founder members of NBG. Networking is vital for any business, and NBG is proof of how it works. We base our networking around the principles of ‘Meet, Know, Like, Trust’, enabling us to work in collaboration with people to share contacts, skills, work, friendship.... A few facts about NBG.
It is not a ‘club’ as such. No fees to join, no committee, no costs. It is a collaboration of people who have in common wanting to grow their businesses. It’s friendly, it’s fun, it’s a way of learning, it’s a way of working together to mutual benefit. And it’s free – what’s not to like? Click slide.
The business group is all about mutual support, friendship and sharing knowledge. We do this in several ways. We have Masterclasses, where anyone with a skill shares that with the rest of us. Fior example, we’ve had sessions on Photography, Writing a Business Plan, Press Releases, Adobe Photoshop and many others. We also have somethign called Normandy Jelly....!!
Jelly! Fairly new to France. Originated in USA when 2 men met in a coffee shop whilst using the free wifi on their laptops to work. Got chatting, ended up collaborating on some projects together. Others joined in , meeting up regularly. Working on your own can be lonely. No-one to bounce ideas off. And it’s lonely! Easy to lose motivation. Jelly is there to help with that. A reason to put your shoes on! Get out, talk to others, while still working. Give Jelly a try. We have various locations. We can hold a Jelly anywhere. All that is needed are:Tables and chairs. Power sockets for those with laptops. FREE wifi. Tea/coffee available (for charge). Get in touch, and let’s get Jelly moving across Normandy (also known to French as Le Coworking) And did I mention this is also FREE?!
What’s not to like? Discount for anyone in NBG becoming a member of FBCCI too.
