The new Call Tracker service upgrades all TeachStreet teachers with a free business phone number and unique extension to enable improved call-management and student inquiry tracking. With this service you will always know when a student is calling (Caller ID displays the TeachStreet phone number), maintain your privacy as you no longer need to publish your personal phone number and get consolidated contact management. You have the option to set a local phone or number or a toll-free 800#.

How do I set up Call Tracker?<br />Call Tracker has been automatically set up for all customers.<br />Check your TeachStreet profile to see what number you have already been given.<br />Want to use a different number? Here’s how…<br />8<br />
Access “My Settings”<br />First, click on “My Settings” to change your TeachStreet Phone Settings.<br />9<br />
Access “Phone Settings”<br />10<br />Then, click on the “Phone Settings” tab to configure your preferences.<br />
Three Phone Number Options<br />Under “My Settings” on the “Phone Settings” tab, there are 3 possible choices you can make for your Published Phone Number.<br />11<br />You can post:<br />A Call Tracker local phone number (area codes include TeachStreet’s largest metro areas only)<br />A Call Tracker toll-free number; or<br />Your pre-existing business phone number<br />

To opt out of Call Services…<br />If for any reason you want to keep using your own pre-existing phone number (and remove yourself from all Call Tracker Services)? Here’s how:<br />13<br /><ul><li>Click on “My Settings” and then on the “Phone Settings” tab.
Under “My Current Phone Number”, validate the accuracy of the original phone number you have listed.
Select Option #2, “Publish My Current Phone Number”.</li></li></ul><li>Class Listing Extension #’s<br /><ul><li>Each teacher/school profile has its own permanent extension # that doesn’t change
Each Class Listing and Session will be assigned the same main phone number (same as your profile), but each will be given a unique, randomly-assigned extension number

Caller ID<br />All student calls you receive through the Call Tracker service will be easily identifiable as a student-call on any Caller ID.<br />Student calls will appear as from the TeachStreet phone number: <br /> 206-381-0652<br />15<br />TeachStreet<br /><ul><li>You can now field your student calls however and whenever you wish.

Message Center Voicemail Playback<br />Your TeachStreet Message Center is now where all student communications will be stored for playback. <br />17<br /><ul><li>Go to “My Profile” and then click on “Messages”
Your Message Center Inbox now displays both written messages from students sent through the TeachStreet website AND voicemail messages you can click on to play.</li></ul>Click on “Messages” to access your Message Center<br />17<br />
How to Play Messages<br />18<br /><ul><li>When you receive an email with a link notifying you of a new voice message, click on the link to play the message as a sound file.
Alternatively, you can visit your TeachStreet Message Center and click on the message you wish to play.

Call Tracker FAQs<br />What if I don’t have a phone line, but want to use the voicemail feature?<br />Under “My Settings > Phone Settings”, leave “My Current Phone Number” blank, then select either the “Call Tracker Local Number” or “Call Tracker 800-number” option. Student voicemails will then be sent to your email inbox and Message Center.<br />What if I don’t want to use the Call Tracker phone or voicemail service?<br />Under “My Settings > Phone Settings”, change your Published Phone Number setting to “My Current Phone Number”.<br />Will I ever need to use a phone to access voicemail?<br />No. Voicemail messages will be sent directly to your email inbox (with a link you click on and listen to) and stored in your Message Center.<br />19<br />
