- Hi, my name is Andrew Rogoff and I’m a co-founder of Resource Guru
- We're here today looking for Ruby on Rails engineers. Can I just get a quick show of hands? How many Rails developers have we got here today? We have a stand so please come and say hi later.
- In a nutshell, RG is cloud based team scheduling software. So, what does that mean?
- Well, I used to work in marketing agency where we had people like this working on lots of different projects.
- Keeping track of who was working on what was pretty tricky. Especially when schedules were changing all the time.
- So we used to track it all in an ugly spreadsheet like this. And it was a nightmare! We needed a better tool. So we searched the web but we couldn't find one. And in the end, we decided to build one ourselves.
- Resource Guru was the end result. It's a beautifully designed, user friendly app that makes it really easy for people to schedule their teams online.
- Since we launched in May 2012, we've picked up some amazing customers like Saatchi & Saatchi, Intel and ASOS.
- Just a couple of months ago, we raised £530k from Index Ventures and other investors to accelerate our growth.
