Klaipeda is the only port city in Lithuania and is located on the Baltic Sea coast. It has a historic old town with sites like the Castle Museum and Theatre Square, where concerts and festivals are held. Klaipeda is a popular tourist destination in the summer for its beaches, including the unique sand dunes of Nida, and for swimming, windsurfing, and other water activities. Klaipeda is also home to the Lithuanian Sea Museum and one of the few dolphinariums on the Baltic Sea, where visitors can watch dolphin and seal shows.
