A strategic specialist with 20 years 
experience in multidisciplinary 
creative company leadership. John 
trained as a brand strategist at DDB 
and was appointed Head of 
Planning and Partner at leading 
creative networks Batey and TBWA 
while in his twenties. In 1999, John 
founded The One Centre, working 
with local and global brands on 
marketing innovation projects. 
John has been named one of 
AdNews 40 under 40 ‘rising stars in 
marketing’, was Founding Chairman 
of the APG and currently serves on 
the board of AIMIA, Australia’s peak 
digital industry body.

In 1999, John founded The One Centre, working with local and global brands on marketing innovation projects. John has been named one of AdNews 40 under 40 ‘rising stars in marketing’, was Founding Chairman of the APG and currently serves on the board of AIMIA, Australia’s peak digital industry body.
