My target audience are male and female aged 16-25. This
is because this target audience is usually the audience that
listen to indie/ indie-rock genre of music.

3. The results from my survey have told me that:
Everyone who answered my questionnaire was 16-25 years old. This is good
because that is the age of my target audience. The majority were female
but there were some males, they are mostly into indie/indie-rock music.
They watch music videos mostly a couple times a week and normally watch
these on TV or Youtube.
The typical features they expect to see in a indie/indie-rock music video are
people playing instruments such as guitars, indie clothing such as skinny
jeans and slightly unusually placed things.
Story lines, things that relate to the song and colour are what appeal to
them mostly in a music video.
There is a 50/50 result to whether they prefer music videos with a
narrative. I think narrative videos are better due to them helping you
understand the lyrics more and add meaning, these are the reasons I got
from my questionnaire as well.
My results tell me that more than once location is preferred within a music
video.

Within my music video I will make sure that I use more than
one location. I Will create a video with a narrative to help
understand the lyrics more and add meaning. I will show
indie clothing and maybe some instruments to still keep in
the typical features of an indie/indie-rock music video. I will
add colour and things that link to the video.
