Thesis Statement For Teen Suicide
Research Question:
How can teen suicide be prevented?
Thesis Statement:
Even though teen suicide is one of the leading causes of deaths in teenagers, there are many ways it
can be prevented.
Summary of Topic:
Suicide is the third leading cause of deaths in adolescents in the United States. Teensuicide is also
often referred to as a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Teens so often are suicidal and
attempt suicide as a call for help from others. They have no intention in dying they are just trying to
cry out for help from anyone that will listen. Many reasons cause teen to attempt suicide, varying
from bullying to psychological disorders. In fact, psychological disorders accounts for about 90%
of teens who attempt or commit suicide. Teenagers are also at higher risk of suicide when they are

Teen suicide is something that is endless, it will never stop but if everyone was educated on it, it
could help prevent deaths. I think with people provided with statistics and further information
can help avoid adolescent suicide attempts. I think most teen suicide cases could be prevent if we
knew the signs to look for and the ways to stop it. I believe parents would feel safer if they knew
knowledge on the issue and how to handle it. The intended audiences for this essay is parents or
friends of suicidal teens. This essay is important because, as mentioned earlier, we need to be
educated on suicide to end tons of tragedies. It is also important to be aware of the warning signs
to help prevent. This essay is relevant because teen suicide is a war that happens daily, and will
continue to happen, until we take control of the situation and do something to stop it. If family
members were informed of the cause and symptoms leading up to the attempt of suicide, then there
is less likely that teenagers would try and commit

Cyber Security Breach : Thesis Statement
Wu Ka Ho – g4wukaho – L1 BA1200
Topic: scenario #3 – Cyber Security Breach
Thesis statement: In an incredibly interconnected world we all shared today, it is not unusual to hear
daily reports about aggressive cyber attacks on private and public sectors, which often results in
compromisation of personal information affecting lives of many at varying degrees; and in some
cases, the stolen information endangered the safety of countless otherwise innocent individuals. On
top of privacy infringement, exploitation of intellectual properties occasionally deals a disastrous
blow to the financial status and competitiveness of targeted companies, giving the offenders valuable
insights to leverage their wrongful intention. Nevertheless, the most detrimental form of attack are
the ones directed at corporations responsible for maintaining critical infrastructures of a country such
as power grid, nuclear facility, and public transportation. Any one of these infrastructures going under
siege would create inconsiderable economical and existential crisis threatening the country's stability,
welfare, and future.
In order to deal with ever encroaching threats at private, public and domestic levels, companies must
disclose cyber breaches to the public at appropriate time, despite issues like shareholder lawsuit,
embarrassment, and further future attacks. By promoting transparency on cyber securities, we
educate the public about safety measures on sharing private information, emphasize

Concussion Thesis Statement
Concussions
1.Introduction
Concussion is a brain injury caused by movement of brain within the skull due to external forces
that may cause sudden acceleration or decoration of a person such as collisions. It is a traumatically
induced transient disturbance to the functioning of the brain caused by complex pathophysiological
process (Harmon et al.). A bump, blow, or jolt to the head may causeconcussion. Concussions also
emanates from a blow to the body that causes the head and hence the brain to move quickly back
and forth, causing the brain to bounce around or twist within the skull. Many people/studies refer to
concussions as mild traumatic brain injuries (MTBI) (Harmon et al.).
The sudden movement of brain inside the skull causes the brain to swell. This sudden movement of
the brain causes the brain cells to stretch and tear, damaging the cells and creating chemical changes
within the brain. It may not be obvious to parents, coaches, trainers and...show more content...
Some patients, however, do experience post–concussion syndrome (PCS) with symptoms lasting
longer than expected. Post–concussion syndrome can include physical, cognitive, and emotional
problems, including headache, dizziness, difficulty concentrating or completing tasks, irritability,
and the sense that you "just don't feel like yourself".
This will ultimately cause some desperation to those affected, as performing daily chores will be
difficult. Long–term effects of concussions are rare with sportspersons and any other people for that
matter. Moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) results to symptoms similar to those of
concussion, but individuals with these TBIs often experience more severe problems with paying
attention and loss of short–term memory, have difficulty performing daily tasks (e.g. practicing,
learning, involvement in games, etc.), and report feeling "slower"

Animals are also tested with "Repeated force feeding tactics" (11 Facts about....). Repeated force
feeding involves forcing animals to eat certain substances over and over just for observation.
What is the point in this? Another experiment performed on animals is killing pregnant animals

even been born yet is wrong and it should be stopped. Killing an animal for no reason is cruel.
That's a life you are taking away. Just imagine if it was you. Animals should only be killed for
food, not to be used for testing. Animals can be burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused as a result
of testing. And the list could go on forever. The way animals are being mistreated and tested on
should be against the law. There is a different ways to do research other than killing and abusing
animals. There are many alternate test that scientist can use to do there research without harming

Equally important to the characteristics of a mentally healthy individual, in today's fast–paced
world, is the psychological health of the brain, the genetic, biological and environmental factors that
play an integral role in general wellness.
Many prominent theorists have argued that perceptions of the self, the world, and the future are
essential for mental health. Yet much research evidence suggests that overly positive
self–evaluations, exaggerated perceptions of control or mastery, and unrealistic optimism are
characteristics of normal human thought. Moreover, these illusions seem to promote other criteria
of mental health, including, the ability to care about others, be happy or contented, and to engage in
productive and creative work. (Taylor & Brown 1988,

Thesis Statement : Early Anxiety Essay
Thesis Statement: Early Anxiety is stemmed from many factors, however the main cause of anxiety
in adolescents is directly related to parenting and/or family influences.
As a child, life was hectic from the beginning. Dad was in and out of jail, and when he was out my
mom and him and my mother would indulge in hard drugs. Don 't get me wrong, when you 're so
twisted on drugs there is only so much your body and mind is capable of doing, right? Since I could
remember I've been the boss, the keeper of the responsibilities, almost like the parent of my parents.
Throughout school, i had constant anxiety about school, worrying about my little brother and
wondering if my parents were okay. Fast forward to the present time, still on a daily basis I struggle
with severe Anxiety. It truly never went away, it only got worse. If I would have had a better mother
daughter, or father daughter relationship or didn't have to watch my parrents struggle with their
anxiety and addictions, and i had to worry a lot less I would have never developed this anxiety.
Harpster 2.
Anxiety can be a very serious (disease/disorder) it is simply defined as an abnormal fear or tension
which can occur without any obvious trigger or session; a recurrence, unwelcome and intrusive
thought. Anxiety can also be defined as a subjective state of fear or tension. There are two types of

For many teenagers, social media plays a big role in their lives. Social media like Twitter,
Facebook, Instagram, Path and many more can be useful tools to keep in touch with friends
which live far away. Social media is one of the most used types of websites by teenagers. This
means it is commonly used for both good and bad purposes. Although social media can be used

There are many
causes for Cyberbullying to occur.
The impacts of cyber bullying for the victims can be underestimated because they are
mainly psychological and not physical. Cyber bullying in its extremes has led to the death of
several teenagers. Cyber bullying leads to depression and lack of enthusiasm for life that drives
the victim to suicide in order to escape the torment. Actually, the first step of preventing and
stopping cyber bullying starts with the individual themselves. They should respect the others and
also themselves because everyone has their human rights and no one cannot destroy it. Simple
steps like using the internet appropriately and not provoking other users are very effective in
preventing cyber bullying. Using internet as the media social is fine but trying to harm people by
spreading gossip or starting rumors and stealing someone password or hacking are bad things.
Technology is decreasing the ability for others to interact and communicate, which is
highly essential in today's world. While social media is a useful tool in our increasingly

the path goal theory there are three leadership styles that make an effective leader, these include,
the leader must be directive, and this includes clarifying performance goals, using rewards and

run over by a car: "chin on chest eyes on ground, feet in shuffle, ever since the fire that burned the
other house on the ground." This demonstrates that Maggie absence of self–confidence make her
frightened to look. She imagines that on the off chance that she can't see the individuals around
her, then they can't see her. What's more, Maggie's discernible scars have impacted on the way
she conducts herself. As indicated by Mama, when she was pulling Maggie out of the fire, her
arms were adhering, "her hair was smoking, and her dress was tumbling off her in minimal dark
papery pieces." This is huge light of the fact that indicates how much the flame really physically
scarred her. This additionally clarifies why she is so apprehensive about individuals seeing her.
Maggie's apparent compressed version of confirmation in herself is created basically by the fire.

Thesis Statement: The success of any relationship relies on one's ability to communicate well.
Communication is important in relationships as it allows us to share our interest, concerns, support
each other; organize our lives and make decisions; and it allows us to work together. Effective
communication is based on the way we talk and listen, how we respond and our body language. We
can all learn how to improve the way we communicate. It takes more than words to create a safe,
exciting and secure relationship. Too often the signals we send are not those we intend to send.
When this happens, both connection and trust are lost in our relationships. When we communicate,
we can say a lot without speaking. Our body, our posture, tone of...show more content...
There is nothing that keeps a relationship strong and going healthy, better than understanding and
once established communication is created many become more familiar with communication and the
different ways we can communicate.. When communication involves talking to our family, friends,
people in general, people tend to turn to their others first (partner, spouse, friends etc) when things
are not running so smoothly in their relationship. They automatically start pointing the things that is
or isn't doing well. People always tend to turn to their partner first when things are not running so
smoothly in their relationship. Remember, it is very easy to see other people's mistakes, but not as
easy when taking a look at yourself, it is much harder to accept criticism, even from yourself–
because no one wants to be wrong. This is where we need to get real about things. Communication is
not about who is right or wrong, but instead about helping each other see things from each other's
perspective, so that you can be on the page and avoid any misunderstanding that will cause unneeded
arguments. Communication is not so complicated, once there is understanding in addition to
understanding what the right way communicating is and what methods of communication works for
you and your communication best. Effective communication cannot happen on its own or with the
efforts of only one person.

prevent the increasing number of kids who decide to give up on school. A system that will benefit
both students, and teachers should be created; making it better for both, students and teachers to
work together properly. With a new system student motivation may improve, the number of over

What some people refer to as global warming is actually nothing more than normal, long–term cycles
of climate change.
Claims of cause and effect: These claims argue that one person, thing, or event caused another thing

The popularity of SUV's in America has caused pollution to increase.
Claims about value: These are claims made of what something is worth, whether we value it or not,
how we would rate or categorize something. Example:
Global warming is the most pressing challenge facing the world today.
Claims about solutions or policies: These are claims that argue for or against a certain solution or

Instead of drilling for oil in Alaska we should be focusing on ways to reduce oil consumption, such

  • 2. Cyber Security Breach : Thesis Statement Wu Ka Ho – g4wukaho – L1 BA1200 Topic: scenario #3 – Cyber Security Breach Thesis statement: In an incredibly interconnected world we all shared today, it is not unusual to hear daily reports about aggressive cyber attacks on private and public sectors, which often results in compromisation of personal information affecting lives of many at varying degrees; and in some cases, the stolen information endangered the safety of countless otherwise innocent individuals. On top of privacy infringement, exploitation of intellectual properties occasionally deals a disastrous blow to the financial status and competitiveness of targeted companies, giving the offenders valuable insights to leverage their wrongful intention. Nevertheless, the most detrimental form of attack are the ones directed at corporations responsible for maintaining critical infrastructures of a country such as power grid, nuclear facility, and public transportation. Any one of these infrastructures going under siege would create inconsiderable economical and existential crisis threatening the country's stability, welfare, and future. In order to deal with ever encroaching threats at private, public and domestic levels, companies must disclose cyber breaches to the public at appropriate time, despite issues like shareholder lawsuit, embarrassment, and further future attacks. By promoting transparency on cyber securities, we educate the public about safety measures on sharing private information, emphasize Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Concussion Thesis Statement Concussions 1.Introduction Concussion is a brain injury caused by movement of brain within the skull due to external forces that may cause sudden acceleration or decoration of a person such as collisions. It is a traumatically induced transient disturbance to the functioning of the brain caused by complex pathophysiological process (Harmon et al.). A bump, blow, or jolt to the head may causeconcussion. Concussions also emanates from a blow to the body that causes the head and hence the brain to move quickly back and forth, causing the brain to bounce around or twist within the skull. Many people/studies refer to concussions as mild traumatic brain injuries (MTBI) (Harmon et al.). The sudden movement of brain inside the skull causes the brain to swell. This sudden movement of the brain causes the brain cells to stretch and tear, damaging the cells and creating chemical changes within the brain. It may not be obvious to parents, coaches, trainers and...show more content... Some patients, however, do experience post–concussion syndrome (PCS) with symptoms lasting longer than expected. Post–concussion syndrome can include physical, cognitive, and emotional problems, including headache, dizziness, difficulty concentrating or completing tasks, irritability, and the sense that you "just don't feel like yourself". This will ultimately cause some desperation to those affected, as performing daily chores will be difficult. Long–term effects of concussions are rare with sportspersons and any other people for that matter. Moderate to severe traumatic brain injury (TBI) results to symptoms similar to those of concussion, but individuals with these TBIs often experience more severe problems with paying attention and loss of short–term memory, have difficulty performing daily tasks (e.g. practicing, learning, involvement in games, etc.), and report feeling "slower" Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Repeated force feeding involves forcing animals to eat certain substances over and over just for observation. What is the point in this? Another experiment performed on animals is killing pregnant animals and examining and experimenting on the fetuses. Killing a mother and killing a baby that hasn't even been born yet is wrong and it should be stopped. Killing an animal for no reason is cruel. That's a life you are taking away. Just imagine if it was you. Animals should only be killed for food, not to be used for testing. Animals can be burned, crippled, poisoned, and abused as a result of testing. And the list could go on forever. The way animals are being mistreated and tested on should be against the law. There is a different ways to do research other than killing and abusing animals. There are many alternate test that scientist can use to do there research without harming animals. Alternative test are defined as test that use the three "R's", a test that replaces a procedure that uses animals with one that doesn't, a test that reduces the number of animals used in a procedure, and test that refine a procedure to cause less pain to the animal.(11 Facts about...) Equally important to the characteristics of a mentally healthy individual, in today's fast–paced world, is the psychological health of the brain, the genetic, biological and environmental factors that play an integral role in general wellness. Many prominent theorists have argued that perceptions of the self, the world, and the future are essential for mental health. Yet much research evidence suggests that overly positive self–evaluations, exaggerated perceptions of control or mastery, and unrealistic optimism are characteristics of normal human thought. Moreover, these illusions seem to promote other criteria of mental health, including, the ability to care about others, be happy or contented, and to engage in productive and creative work. Thesis Statement : Early Anxiety Essay Thesis Statement: Early Anxiety is stemmed from many factors, however the main cause of anxiety in adolescents is directly related to parenting and/or family influences. As a child, life was hectic from the beginning. Dad was in and out of jail, and when he was out my mom and him and my mother would indulge in hard drugs. Don 't get me wrong, when you 're so twisted on drugs there is only so much your body and mind is capable of doing, right? Since I could remember I've been the boss, the keeper of the responsibilities, almost like the parent of my parents. Throughout school, i had constant anxiety about school, worrying about my little brother and wondering if my parents were okay. Fast forward to the present time, still on a daily basis I struggle with severe Anxiety. It truly never went away, it only got worse. If I would have had a better mother daughter, or father daughter relationship or didn't have to watch my parrents struggle with their anxiety and addictions, and i had to worry a lot less I would have never developed this anxiety. Harpster 2. • 16. Thesis Statement: The success of any relationship relies on one's ability to communicate well. Communication is important in relationships as it allows us to share our interest, concerns, support each other; organize our lives and make decisions; and it allows us to work together. Effective communication is based on the way we talk and listen, how we respond and our body language. We can all learn how to improve the way we communicate. It takes more than words to create a safe, exciting and secure relationship. Too often the signals we send are not those we intend to send. When communication involves talking to our family, friends, people in general, people tend to turn to their others first (partner, spouse, friends etc) when things are not running so smoothly in their relationship. They automatically start pointing the things that is or isn't doing well. People always tend to turn to their partner first when things are not running so smoothly in their relationship. Remember, it is very easy to see other people's mistakes, but not as easy when taking a look at yourself, it is much harder to accept criticism, even from yourself– because no one wants to be wrong. This is where we need to get real about things. Communication is not about who is right or wrong, but instead about helping each other see things from each other's perspective, so that you can be on the page and avoid any misunderstanding that will cause unneeded arguments. Communication is not so complicated, once there is understanding in addition to understanding what the right way communicating is and what methods of communication works for you and your communication best. Effective communication cannot happen on its own or with the efforts of only one person. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
