Este trabajo ha sido realizado por un alumno del IES FRancés de Aranda de Teruel dentro del proyecto LEONARDO DA... JUEGO, desarrollado junto con el IES Salvador VIctoria de Monral del Campo en el curso 2012/2013
2. Leonardo was a virtuoso from the Italian
Renassaince. Da Vinci studied almost every
field of the knowledge.
3. He lived from 1452 to 1519. He
was born in Tuscany
4. He became a master of topographic
anatomy, drawing many muscles, tendons and
other visible anatomical features.
5. Before
Leonardo, anatomy’s
knowledge was very
scarce.
By Leonardo’s time
there were few
advances, and they
were based on animal
dissections
This is a picture of Leonardo’s
anatomy
6. Leonardo made over 200 pages of drawings and
many pages of notes compiled in a treatise on
anatomy. Then these papers were left to his
heir, Francesco Melzi, and he published them.
How did Leonardo expand
knowledge of anatomy?
7. Leonardo drew a lot of paintings thanks to the
dissections of bodies.
Leonardo also studied the mechanical functions of
the skeleton and the muscular forces that are
applied to it, so he knew how the body worked.
