This presentation gives an overview of Centrify for Samsung KNOX at the time of its launch on October 8, 2013. This presentation was given primarily to press and analysts but provides good information for current and prospective customers on what Samsung KNOX is and the solution that Centrify provides as part of KNOX. So what is Samsung KNOX? Samsung KNOX is a new Android-based solution specifically designed to enhance security of the current open source Android platform. It provides a solution for "work" and "play" by satisfying the highest level of the enterprise security requirements while protecting employees' privacy by leveraging the KNOX Container. What is Centrify for Samsung KNOX? Centrify for Samsung KNOX delivers Active Directory-based single sign-on, mobile container management and device management for Samsung KNOX-enabled devices and is available as standard features with the KNOX platform. And what specifically did Centrify announce on October 8, 2013? Centrify announced that it is delivering on its partnership with Samsung by enabling the latest KNOX-enabled models of Samsung’s GALAXY S4, Note 3 and Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) devices with its unparalleled Active Directory integration, mobile application Zero Sign-On, and KNOX container and device management capabilities. As a result of Centrify’s integration with Samsung KNOX, organizations can leverage Centrify’s cloud service to comprehensively manage Android users and devices and address security and management of enterprise mobility, application access, and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and Corporate Owned Personally Enabled (COPE) challenges.
