1. Music Choices-
Pretty Reckless- You make me wanna die

For the beginning of the trailer we wanted
something slow and eerie which we found
in this song and for the original idea of the
trailer this song was perfect because the
words used matched the storyline of the
trailer. However, because our trailer is very
short, unless we edit a lot of this song out
it may not sound right which we don’t
want and the build up from slow to fast
isn’t quick enough for our trailer.
2. Avenged Sevenfold- Nightmare

This song has a very slow, very eerie beginning
which is perfect for the atmosphere we’re
trying to create for the beginning of the trailer
and slowly builds up into guitars which we
could edit in when the antagonist snaps one of
the victims neck. However during the end of
the trailer it gets even more serious so really
because of the length of the song and the slow
part at the beginning of the song, the whole
trailer will be in slow, eerie music which may
work but at the same time may not. The music
sounds like something played at a funeral
which would add the perfect feeling the our
trailer as it shows different people being hurt
or killed and the protagonist being harmed.
3. Eyes set to kill – Violent Kiss

While this song has the perfect semantics
behind the meanings we are trying to
portray in the film, the opening of the song
starts too quickly which isn’t ideal for what
we are trying to achieve. If this song had a
slower opening and then built up into the
song, it would be perfect as the audience
would have been able to listen to the song
and notice it was based around vampires.
4. Paramore – Decode

This song is originally taken from
twilight which has the same type
of genre as the film we are trying
to make. While the song starts
with a very slow and eerie
beginning like we were hoping to
have at the beginning of the
trailer, we wanted the music to
build up so when the antagonist
goes on her killing rampage the
music could tie in with her anger.
This song however has a constant
slow speed and rhyme to it so it
isn’t ideal for what we are trying
to achieve.
