Our Flip-Dots wall was exhibited in the head office of Korean
advertising agency, Cheil Worldwide. The display embodied the
company’s slogan “Ideas that Move“, which introduces the history
and achievements of the company. We worked with a Korean
creative production company on this project.

Flip-Dots Wall was installed for a vocaloid opera, “THE END” at
Shibuya Orchard Hall. It is an opera created by musician/artist
Shibuya Keiichiro; director/theater writer, Okada Toshinori; video
artist, YKBX and other highly acclaimed up-and-coming artists. The
Flip-Dots Wall represents the unique worldview of “THE END”, by
displaying both scenes and lines from the production.

Samsung Electronics Japan opened a pop-up Galaxy Studio at
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo in December 2012. "Split Scan" installed in the
exhibition section expresses the innovative new technology and
functionality of Galaxy, Samsung's series of mobile computing
devices.

As part of DoCoMo's U25 student mobile plan promo campaign, we
set up a 6-meter long Flip-Dot Wall inside Tokyo's JR Akihabara
station from March 10-16, 2017.
The installation had an interactive feature which allowed users to
erase words and watch their pixelated silhouette form on the
monotone display.
We also added animation content that showed cherry blossom trees
in the wind, adding a simple but emotional audio visual experience for
viewers.
The flower petals rain down and depict the arrival of spring, which in
Japan symbolizes the start of the school year.

An installation using 24 iPod touches to capture a series of images
that are generated into an animated video. The video, displayed in
real time, is automatically uploaded to YouTube for easy sharing. The
Photo Circuit was presented in Roppongi Art Night 2015, which was
well received by all visitors.

The “Cube Shutter Room” launched from July 28th to 31st in 2016.
This four-day promotional event for Nissan’s Cube mini MPV range
was held at the company’s Global Headquarters Gallery in
Yokohama.
For this event we’ve turned the spacious insides of a Nissan Cube
into a selfie booth, which detects the smiles of its driver/passengers
and automatically captures a series of images in 360°. The images
will then be generated into a GIF animation for your viewing pleasure.
By reading the QR code produced after the photoshoot, visitors can
access the GIF animation.

From 23rd to 29th November 2015 we were commissioned to set up
the 360° PHOTO JOCKEY installation at the Keio Shinjuku station
exit to commemorate the launch of the Japan Cup.
Visitors posed on top of a life-size racing horse statue and have their
photos snapped in 360 degrees and the photos were immediately
generated into a GIF video, which was automatically is uploaded
unlisted to YouTube for easy sharing.

“Paparacci me” is a photo sharing service, to turn party guests into
paparazzi.
Guests snap pictures with their smartphone and our special app.
Then “throw” their phones towards the screen and the photo appears
on the screen. The pictures can be shared to social media and also
saved to the paparazzo’s phone.

In March 2017, Nike celebrated Air Max Day worldwide to mark the
30th anniversary of its iconic Air Max running shoes.
A grand three-day celebration in Tokyo was held at Tokyo National
Museum Hyokeikan from March 24-26, giving visitors an exciting
audio visual experience of the history of Air Max through fashion,
technology, music and sports.
We were tasked with creating an experiential installation for the Air
Max Beatmaker section, which was equipped with 6 traditional
treadmills with a 4-sided projection area.
The treadmills were programmed to allow users to control projected
motion graphics with running speed, while creating an original
soundtrack as an end result.
Participants also got to try the newly launched Nike Air VaporMax at
the Air Max Beatmaker section.

The “Enjoy My Life, Enjoy Glico” event was held at Shanghai Raffles
City from June 16th – 21st as part of a brand-awareness campaign
for the confectionery brand.
We were involved in the planning and production of the project, which
used a total of 1,344 Pocky packages to form a giant interactive
installation.
Pocky, a household name in China and Japan, was used to
symbolize the brand’s ability to bring smiles to the faces of its
consumers. When a participant stands in front of the installation, it
responds by moving the packages vertically to create his/her image
on its facade in real time. We also prepared a photo booth at the
venue for fans to create their own version of the Pocky package by
inserting the photos taken at the booth.

The display embodied the company’s slogan “Ideas that Move“, which introduces the history and achievements of the company.   • 20. Introduction 7 Flip-Dots Wall was installed for a vocaloid opera, “THE END” at Shibuya Orchard Hall. It is an opera created by musician/artist Shibuya Keiichiro; director/theater writer, Okada Toshinori; video artist, YKBX and other highly acclaimed up-and-coming artists.   • 24. Introduction 11 As part of DoCoMo's U25 student mobile plan promo campaign, we set up a 6-meter long Flip-Dot Wall inside Tokyo's JR Akihabara station from March 10-16, 2017. The installation had an interactive feature which allowed users to erase words and watch their pixelated silhouette form on the monotone display. We also added animation content that showed cherry blossom trees in the wind, adding a simple but emotional audio visual experience for viewers. The flower petals rain down and depict the arrival of spring, which in Japan symbolizes the start of the school year. Docomo Flip-Dots Wall
  • 27. Introduction 14 An installation using 24 iPod touches to capture a series of images that are generated into an animated video. The video, displayed in real time, is automatically uploaded to YouTube for easy sharing.   • 29. Introduction 16 The “Cube Shutter Room” launched from July 28th to 31st in 2016. This four-day promotional event for Nissan’s Cube mini MPV range was held at the company’s Global Headquarters Gallery in Yokohama. For this event we’ve turned the spacious insides of a Nissan Cube into a selfie booth, which detects the smiles of its driver/passengers and automatically captures a series of images in 360°. The images will then be generated into a GIF animation for your viewing pleasure. By reading the QR code produced after the photoshoot, visitors can access the GIF animation. CUBE SHUTTER ROOM
  • 31. Introduction 18 From 23rd to 29th November 2015 we were commissioned to set up the 360° PHOTO JOCKEY installation at the Keio Shinjuku station exit to commemorate the launch of the Japan Cup. Guests snap pictures with their smartphone and our special app. Then “throw” their phones towards the screen and the photo appears on the screen.   • 38. Introduction 25 In March 2017, Nike celebrated Air Max Day worldwide to mark the 30th anniversary of its iconic Air Max running shoes. A grand three-day celebration in Tokyo was held at Tokyo National Museum Hyokeikan from March 24-26, giving visitors an exciting audio visual experience of the history of Air Max through fashion, technology, music and sports. We were tasked with creating an experiential installation for the Air Max Beatmaker section, which was equipped with 6 traditional treadmills with a 4-sided projection area. The treadmills were programmed to allow users to control projected motion graphics with running speed, while creating an original soundtrack as an end result.   • 41. Introduction 28 The “Enjoy My Life, Enjoy Glico” event was held at Shanghai Raffles City from June 16th – 21st as part of a brand-awareness campaign for the confectionery brand. We were involved in the planning and production of the project, which used a total of 1,344 Pocky packages to form a giant interactive installation. Pocky, a household name in China and Japan, was used to symbolize the brand’s ability to bring smiles to the faces of its consumers. When a participant stands in front of the installation, it responds by moving the packages vertically to create his/her image on its facade in real time.
