The digitization office aims to support the University of Pretoria Library Services by converting analog materials to digital formats, implementing digital preservation strategies, and promoting the use of mobile technologies for accessing library information. Key goals include completing digitization projects, training staff on digital preservation practices, and exploring ways to provide library resources to mobile devices to better serve students. Digital preservation, curation, and training staff are emphasized as important strategies for the future.
