LCV 2WHEELERS MG ROAD WAGOLI LCV Direct selling or counter selling pattern generally exist at this level. Customers are able to purchase the product from various dealers,retail,malls and hotels Use of any vehicles for transportation of the goods don’t exist at this stage. The price charged at this level are the company price labeled on the products, an extra of rs 1 is charged  for the use of refrigerator to keep the products cold
Primary distribution involves use of heavy cargo vehicles those are the 6 &10 tyre trucks in order to carry the goods from the manufacturing plant till the central warehouse.  In the primary distribution model the goods are to be delivered from the central warehouse to regional warehouse or the distributors warehouse ,for this the mode of transportation  being used are the heavy cargo vehicles . Secondary distribution is  where the goods are supplied by the distributors to the dealers or for retail. At this level light cargo vehicles are under motion .The light cargo vehicles include vehicles like ape3wheeler,Tata ace ,Mahindra alfa,minidor,force ,bajaj etc  . Tertiary distribution are where the customers are in direct contact with the dealers or the retail ,the purchase is done directly ,if the order is high the customers use there private vehicles whether 2wheelers or 4wheelers. Secondary distribution is the area where supply is not only within the city, but rural areas are also covered while mode of transportation being LCV itself.

  • 24. Pricing Rural area supply : The pricing pattern is different for rural areas as delivery charge is also based on distance . Rs 6/km is charged along with the carton charge for supply in rural area. The rate is not fixed as for longer distance the rate rises up. Goods are generally loaded and delivered through vehicles only after 3 pm

  • 34. Conclusion Operating cost for ape3wheeler has been found 26% lower than that of Tata ace. Maintenance cost for ape3wheeler is lower than Tata ace. Use of Tata ace and Ape3wheeler are found more in secondary distribution.
