cooked breakfast (naashta), and ignored other readymade breakfast
options like cereals, muesli, and oats. However, with changing Indian
lifestyles with increasing spending power towards fitness, and the ever
increasing need for convenience, especially in urban areas has resulted
in the increase of demand towards readymade breakfasts.
This increase in demand is directly proportional to the ways of
consumption of various cereal based breakfast items. This is the reason
why breakfast cereal is a growing market in India.
Thus, the bulk of the breakfast cereal market is divided into two different
types.
