Campus: Jayam is situated in a green, eco friendly

With the team of 175 Teaching and 125 Supporting
Staff dedicated Members of Faculty – 10 Ph. D and
60 pursuing Ph. D

At present, 2500 students are studying and among
them 800 are hostellers. The college has produced
more than 4000 engineers so far and nearly 450 of

7. Certification Courses: Apart from University Curriculum, the Certification Courses
have been designed and conducted by the internal and external premier institutions. JCET
has MoUs with the number of the institutions like ICT Academy of Tamilnadu, Oracle
Academy, Versatile, CADD Centre, etc..
Industry Interaction: The institute has a reputation for cutting edge research and
industry –Institute Interaction. It has a dynamic environment with academic excellence
and innovative attitude to undertake projects from various state, central governments and
Educational agencies. The JCET has signed MoU with the premier Indian and abroad
institutions and firms.
8. Research Institute: Thanks to Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore for its
approval for JCET Research Centre where nearly 60 Scholars are doing their
Ph. D now. The seminar and workshops have been conducted. The management offers
incentives and scholarships and encourages who presents the papers in the international
and national level conferences for the Scholars.
9. Transforming the students from Educational to Professional is the
primary goal of our Placement and Training Cell.
It plays a very important and key role in counseling and guiding the
students at every stage of their academic programmes and helps to fit
into a suitable employment.
The Placement cell ensures and takes care to provide the best
arrangement and hospitality for the visiting corporate officials.
10. The Office also co-ordinates various
activities related to the career of the
students along with the industrial
training. The Placement and Training cell
organizes On-campus as well as Off-
campus interviews for final & pre -final
year students of UG and PG Programmes.
The Cell is involved in arranging Guest
Lectures by inviting eminent personalities
from leading organizations, Personality
Development Programmes, In-plant
training for students .
