HONDA
 The HMSI factory is spread over 52 acres, with a covered area of
  about 85, 815 square meters at Manesar, Gurgaon district of Haryana.
  The foundation stone for the factory was laid on 14th
  December 1999 and the factory was completed in January 2001. The
  initial installed capacity was 100,000 scooters per year, which has
  reached 6,00,000 scooters by the year by 2007 and motorcycle capacity
  shall be 4,00,000 per annum. The total investment outlay for the initial
  capacity was Rs. 215 crores and now the accumulated investment
  is 800 crores.

 The second plant at the Tapukara Industrial Area of Rajasthan, which
  is approximately 90km from the center of Delhi, has become
  operational from July 2011 with annual production capacity
  of 0.6 million units. HMSI aims to double the annual production
  capacity of this plant to 1.2 million units in March 2012.
   Honda Motor Company, Ltd. is a Japanese public multinational
    corporation primarily known as a manufacturer of automobiles and
    motorcycles .



   Honda was the first Japanese automobile manufacturer to release a
    dedicated luxury brand in 1986. Aside from their core automobile and
    motorcycle businesses, Honda also manufactures garden equipment,
    marine engines, personal watercraft and power generators, amongst
    others.
   What are the various factors that affects on purchasing decision is
    differ from customer to customer. The speciality of this products is
    that it can be available anywhere. Even though these products are
    more popular, as well as, more preferable, but nowadays there are no.
    of motorcycles companies available in market. Consumer select
    various brands on their personal choice influencing by various factors
    hence, researcher want to know exact market share of that Activa,
    Unicorn, Dio & Shine brands and various factors affecting these
    brands.
The study aims at finding out customer
satisfaction about the Honda Motorcycle
and factors influencing choice of Honda
Motocycle. Hence, title of study is “the
Concept & Information of Activa,
Dio, Unicorn,Shine ”
•To study the information of Activa, Dio, Unicorn,
Shine.

•To study the customer satisfaction about the
Motorcycles

•To find out factors influencing choice of motors.
•Geographic scope - The study is limited to India only.


•Conceptual scope- The study is limited to the concept of customers
satisfaction and buying behaviour.

•Analytical scope – The present study has been analysed through
statically tools, like scale method etc.
The study is significant to organizations in following ways.

•The study will help the organization to understand the need of
customers as far as honda motorcycles concerned

•The study will help the organization to know the customer
preferences also various factors that affect selection of honda
motorcycle.

•The study can communicate the information or suggestions of
customers to the honda motorcycles companies.
This study is descriptive in nature. Research design of project deals
with the understanding the concept of customer satisfaction about of
Activa, Dio, Unicorn,Shine
Research methodology adopted for this study as follows :
1) Data required for the study :
a)Primary Data : Primary data required for study is customers
information about their choice of product.
b)Secondary Data : secondary data required for study is conceptual
knowledge about motorcycle and choice and preferences of the
motorcycle.
2 ) Data Sources :
- Primary sources : Research will collect the information from
motorcycle dealers through their schedule
- Secondary sources : Secondary source will be collected through
books, magazines, website, article etc.


3) Instruments :
Instruments use for collecting data is schedule.


4) Sample Technique :
Sample technique will use convenient random sampling.


5) Sample size :
Sample size is taken as 100. above the 18 years.
The Honda Activa is a motor scooter made by Honda Motorcycle
and Scooter India and Honda de México. It was launched in India in 2000.
Production in Mexico began in 2004.It is a 102 cc, 7 bhp (5.2 kW) scooter.
The vehicle has the option of kick- and self-start, includes the puncture-
resistant "tuff-up" tyre and tube combination.
Honda launched a new version of the Activa in 2009 with a new 110 cc engine.
 Following Changes/additions Have Been Made in New Honda Activa:
 Redesigned headlamps with integrated clear lens indicators
 All new clear lens tail lamp with integrated clear lens indicators
 Impact resistant ABS plastic panels
 New 109cc 4 Stroke 8 Bhp engine
 Redesigned front and rear section
 New CBS System which applies front braking force whenever the rear
   brake is operated
   The Honda Unicorn is a motorcycle developed by Honda Motorcycle &
    Scooter India (HMSI) and introduced in 2005. The motorcycle was built
    and designed by the Honda R&D team based in Osaka, Japan. It was
    internally called the CBF150M. The engine was taken
    from CRF150F post 2005 engine. The previous version of CRF150F was
    the old CBZ classic. The design of the bike was done keeping in mind
    Indian road conditions. Many new features were incorporated, including
    a two-way air jacket, and a diamond frame. The first version of the bike
    featured spoke wheels and kick start only. Honda claimed the Unicorn
    accelerated from 0 to 60 km/h (0 to 37 mph) in 5 seconds and had a top
    speed of 101 km/h (63 mph). India Business Insight reported
    acceleration of 0 to 60 km/h (0 to 37 mph) in 5.28–5.86 seconds, and a
    top speed of 114 km/h (71 mph

     The Honda Dio was introduced in Japan in January 1988. The name
       is derived from the son of Venus 'dyonisiac'. It is now manufactured
       and assembled in India by Honda's HMSI subsidiary, from where it
       is exported to UK as the Honda Lead. The Dio is equipped with
       cushioned seats and also a spacious under the seat storage box.
     The Honda Dio runs on a 102 cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single-
       cylinder, OHC engine with both electric self-start and kick start.
       The scooter has a 6-litre (1.3 imp gal; 1.6 US gal) fuel tank, of which
       one litre is reserve.
     In 2012, HMSI launched a new Dio at Auto Expo in India. It has a
       new 110 cc engine which also runs Honda's Activa and Aviator. It
       also has a new look and new headlight.
 The Honda Shine is a motorcycle developed by Honda Motorcycl &
   Scooter India (HMSI). It is Powered by Honda’s revolutionary Optimax &
   Ergotec technologies.CB Shine is powered by a 125cc ’Optimax’ engine,
   which maintains Optimum input for maximum output and incorporates
   cutting edge technologies to deliver best balance of mileage and pickup.
   Due to its cutting edge Honda technologies, the 125 cc ’Optimax’ engine
   delivers class leading 10.3 BHP which enables Shine to deliver the best
   balance of pickup and mileage.CB Shine also comes equipped with
   puncture resistant Tuff-up tube and Primary Kick/Self start for easier city
   riding etc. Honda claimed the Shine accelerated from 0 to 60 km/h (0 to
   37 mph) in 5.30 seconds and had a top speed of 95–100 km/h (59–62
   mph).

The motorcycle was built and designed by the Honda R&D team based in Osaka, Japan. It was internally called the CBF150M. The engine was taken from CRF150F post 2005 engine. The previous version of CRF150F was the old CBZ classic. The design of the bike was done keeping in mind Indian road conditions. Many new features were incorporated, including a two-way air jacket, and a diamond frame. The first version of the bike featured spoke wheels and kick start only.   • 20. KBPIMSR VARYE SATARA.  The Honda Dio was introduced in Japan in January 1988. The name is derived from the son of Venus 'dyonisiac'. It is now manufactured and assembled in India by Honda's HMSI subsidiary, from where it is exported to UK as the Honda Lead. The Dio is equipped with cushioned seats and also a spacious under the seat storage box.  The Honda Dio runs on a 102 cc air-cooled, four-stroke, single- cylinder, OHC engine with both electric self-start and kick start. The scooter has a 6-litre (1.3 imp gal; 1.6 US gal) fuel tank, of which one litre is reserve.  In 2012, HMSI launched a new Dio at Auto Expo in India.
