The study included 400 male medical students between the ages of 22-25 in Saudi Arabia. Most (92%) were single, 6.5% were married, and 1.5% were divorced. Nearly a quarter (23.8%) had a family history of breast cancer. The study assessed the students' knowledge of breast cancer risk factors like oral contraceptive pills, radiation, smoking, fatty diets, and family history of ovarian cancer. It also evaluated their knowledge of breast self-examination, mammograms, the relationship between BSE and early detection of breast cancer, cancer treatment options, and beliefs about breast cancer prognosis.
