GANGABANKS RAFTING CAMP
This exclusive and private beach just below the retreat has 30 river facing beach side
Swiss tents complete with beds, carpets and chairs ,all in the midst of the Himalayan
foothills, forest and facing the Ganges. Ganga Banks Camps is located on a 10000 sq ft
sandy beach right on the banks of the Ganga. Complete with beach volleyball ,river side
parachute sit outs ,bonfire and bar-be-que and riverside bar. The camp is used for a wide
range of activities like beach games, expeditions, trek into Garghwal ,quiet retreats, HRD

Rafting Bonanza: 02 Nights / 03 Days
Day 1: Arrive Ganga Banks By lunch. Check into river side tents / cottages. After lunch
proceed for the first rafting trip from Marine drive to the camp. Our experienced staff
including trip leader and guides receives you here. After a session of briefing by the Trip
leader we start an interesting encounter on rapids like Good Morning, LMT, Three blind
mice, for over 2-3 hrs. Evening free to enjoy beach volleyball. Optional trek to haunted
house. Evening tea/ snacks. Dinner & overnight tents / cottages.
Day 02: After breakfast, we start our second encounter with mighty river Ganga to
include rapids like Micky, Shivpuri, Golf Course, and Roller Coaster etc for 3-4 hrs
including Cliff jumping. Pull out at Neem Beach. Drive back to the camp / hotel. Enroute
try rock climbing & rappelling on natural rock face. Evening tea/snacks. Dinner &
overnight tents / cottages.

6. Day 03: Early morning trek to leopards trail. Return by breakfast. After breakfast depart
Ganga Banks.

The Apple Orchard Valley – 1 hr away from Shimla is a perfect getaway for the
adventure & solace seeker. The Apple orchards spread over 10 acres offers a beautiful

Aranyam (Heritage Home) : Over 100 yrs old this has presently 8 rooms, a 40 seater

Earth Element (Camping site) : The camping site in the Orchards holds over 20 Swiss

Narkanda road. Off the road is a 20 min walk or 15 min pony ride through a pine forest to

Day 02: After breakfast embark on a light Pine forest trek into the Kaudiyala forests with
guide or climb up to the famous Surkhanda Devi Temple. On the way back try out a
natural rock face for Rapelling. Post lunch embark on fun games like Zorbing, Tug of
war or treasure hunt. Evening bonfire & music. Overnight Dhanaulti.
Day 03: After breakfast depart for Delhi via Mussoorie.

This is played ideally over a more rougher terrain. The exercise is that the enemy
has captured Katrina Kaif & there is the attacking team and the defending team.
The attacking team will walk through a rough mine & sniper infested terrain & the
defending team will guard the captured Katrina Kaif but will have look out men &
snipers and they will take pot shots at the approaching team & finally have close
combat near the defence area.
