If you create a daily recurring appointment in Lotus Notes that starts in the future and you then configure two-way sync

ICS file even though only one ICS file exists in the default location. (DT 3869695)
If you have two-way sync configured for your calendar and you have your events synchronized between Microsoft Outlook
and your smartphone, if you modify a field in an event from either your email client or your smartphone and then you delete
the same field from the other source (email client or your smartphone), when you sync your calendar, the BlackBerry
Desktop Software does not prompt you that there is a conflict for the event; instead it syncs the change. (DT 3869677)

5373923)
If you configure two-way sync for your contacts and, from your smartphone, you add a home phone number for a contact

your contacts, the BlackBerry Desktop Software doesn't display the synchronization confirmation window, but the data
synchronizes correctly. (DT 3869565)
Windows 7
If you configure two-way sync for your contacts, and create new contacts on your smartphone, in some cases you might see
a notification that both new contacts were synchronized, when only one was successful. (DT 6413961)
If you have a synchronized recurring calendar entry and you delete an instance of the series from your email client and you
delete another instance from your smartphone, and then you sync your calendar, the BlackBerry Desktop Software
incorrectly adds the instance of the event that you deleted from your email client back into your desktop calendar. (DT
3869704)
If you change contact information using your email client, your smartphone might display “1 add, 1 delete” on the Changes

synchronize. (DT 3869646)

change, the update syncs to your contact list successfully. If you perform the sync again without making any changes, the
BlackBerry Desktop Software indicates a change has been made on your smartphone, although when you view the Item
Details, no information is changed. (DT 3869682)

data screen and change your backup options and then continue, your backup doesn't start again. (DT 757762)

(DT 3869677) If you are a delegate and you create a calendar entry in another person's calendar, the BlackBerry Desktop Software syncs the calendar entry in the other person's desktop calendar but the entry is not synchronized to the person's smartphone. (DT 3869443) If you change a non-mapped field for a contact on your computer, this contact shows up as changed during a sync. (DT 3869439) If you configure two-way sync for your calendar, an extra entry is added to your calendar if you change a recurring calendar entry from your email client and sync. (DT 4406167 )
  • 10. Release Notes Known Issues 10 If you configure two-way sync for memos, the BlackBerry Desktop Software might report a conflict between a memo you create on your smartphone and a note you create in Microsoft Outlook even when the entries are unique. (DT 1254615) Microsoft Outlook Express If you add information using your smartphone and email client, the Conflict Resolution screen might not appear. (DT 5373923) If you configure two-way sync for your contacts and, from your smartphone, you add a home phone number for a contact and then from Microsoft Outlook Express you add a business phone number for the same contact, when you synchronize your contacts, the BlackBerry Desktop Software doesn't display the synchronization confirmation window, but the data synchronizes correctly. (DT 3869565) Windows 7 If you configure two-way sync for your contacts, and create new contacts on your smartphone, in some cases you might see a notification that both new contacts were synchronized, when only one was successful. (DT 6413961) If you have a synchronized recurring calendar entry and you delete an instance of the series from your email client and you delete another instance from your smartphone, and then you sync your calendar, the BlackBerry Desktop Software incorrectly adds the instance of the event that you deleted from your email client back into your desktop calendar. (DT 3869704) If you change contact information using your email client, your smartphone might display “1 add, 1 delete” on the Changes screen. (DT 3869680) In some cases, changes to first and last name information for a Contact on your smartphone might not sync to your email client. (DT 3869679) If you create separate Calendar entries using your smartphone or email client and synchronize, Calendar entries might not synchronize. (DT 3869646) Windows Vista If you have two-way sync configured for your contacts and you update a contact from your smartphone, when you sync the change, the update syncs to your contact list successfully. If you perform the sync again without making any changes, the BlackBerry Desktop Software indicates a change has been made on your smartphone, although when you view the Item Details, no information is changed. (DT 3869682) Switching your smartphone or tablet You might be able to perform a device switch even though this option within the Tools menu to do so is not selected. (DT 6659631) After backing up your data while switching your smartphone, if you click the back arrow to return to the Select optional data screen and change your backup options and then continue, your backup doesn't start again. (DT 757762) Certificates If you select Notify me when a CRL server cannot be contacted during an update, the BlackBerry Desktop Software doesn't send a notification when it cannot contact a CRL server. (DT 1261063, 4406403) You have the option to sync a certificate that is marked non-exportable, even though this type of certificate can't be synced. (DT 1140159, 4406237)
