Assessment Event 2 – Submission in response to a government policy/legislation which
impacts on families at risk Students are to select a specific legislation or government policy
which is relevant to families at risk. Students will develop a submission in response to this
legislation/government policy, which critically analyses the strengths and limitations of the
legislation/government policy in terms of how it impacts on families at risk. Students will
proposes changes which are more supportive of families at risk. Word count: 1,500 words
