Project proposal title and date:
FMP Y2: Nothing revealed everything denied.
Main area of activity:
My main area of activity will be animation
Rationale: 150 words approx.
In the last 2 years, the projects I have picked up the most knowledge from would be the adventure
project, the music video project, my last FMP and the Factual project. From the adventure project I
acquired some of the basic knowledge of animation, what started it all for me really. I learned the
differences between traditional 2d animation and pixel animation. I learned the basics of digital
drawing first hand too. The music video project gave me the editing knowledge which helped me a
lot in my Factual project, piecing clips together and creating effects and transitions etc. My last
FMP really boosted my animation knowledge and gave me some insight on using different
animation techniques. My factual project helped me discover new software that makes drawing
and animation easier at the same time and now I can use all that in my fmp combined because of
the software.
Project Concept: 200 words approx.
My concept was to make an animated music video about struggles Such as anxiety and how finding the
right people can help you overcome your problems. I think the idea I’m going for would be at first have the
colours be dark and depressing to reflect the character’ emotions and mind then as the video goes along
add more colour to represent the change of the characters mind set and eventually present a complete
change of heart. The main inspiration for my animation is an animated music video by cudlil called nothing
revealed/ Everything denied. It will be in my own style and way.
The research I will need to conduct for this will probably be any new form of animation techniques that I
could potentially include in my work, some research about animation like some background analysis which
I can then use to research some of the more specific things about good animation. I think I will also be
researching a lot more on colour theory and colour pallets as I haven’t really worked with them properly
yet in animation. I might also try look into anymore software that I can use to help me produce better work
and art.
How will the project be evaluated and reviewed: 150 words approx.
I’m going to Evaluate my work based on my own feedback I put in my diary and also evaluate how
well it is from other people. I think having constant feedback on my work will give me a fair
judgement on how well I’m doing and what can be improved weekly and I definitely think having
the diary to write with every week will help me analyse my work properly especially if its my own
thoughts and reactions to the project. I also think setting my own timed goals for certain sections
will help me also evaluate time management specifically and I’ll be able to see if I am working at a
consistent pace and producing good work at the same time. I believe it will be a case of trial and
error but I have hopes that it will help develop my work before perusing a full time career.

Bibliography:
Minimum of 10 sources that you could use for your project. These can be existing products, used
for inspiration. Or books looked at for the theory research. Make sure you get a mixture of books
and products. Limit yourself to no more than 2 websites if possible (you can put Google Book links
like Books on Neil’s Toolbox). Consider galleries, books, magazines, journals, films, computer
games, websites, blogs, social media, radio programmes, archive material, podcasts etc.
This must include at least 2 primary sources of information- tweak Source 1 and 2 to fit.
Alphabetise the list when complete (highlight the sources and click the SORT button- it has an A-Z
and an arrow pointing down on it).
