Jill Blakeway, L.Ac, author of Making Babies and Sex Again is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Herbalist. She specializes in the care of women by using acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine to boost fertility and the effectiveness of fertility treatments. Jill helps modern day couples overcome fertility issues and conceive by combining 3,500-year old Chinese wisdom and adapting it to today’s western methods. Her work inspired The New York Times to call her one of the city’s top acupuncturists and a “fertility goddess”. Jill was also the first acupuncturist to give a TEDTalk, at TEDGlobal in 2012. The YinOva Method How Acupuncture Helps Treat Infertility Fertility support is a YinOva specialty. Since 1999, Jill Blakeway and Team have employed the powerful and effective combination of Chinese herbs and acupuncture to create an optimal environment in the body to prepare itself to conceive. The combined method of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture reduces inflammation, increases blood supply to the pelvis and the uterus, offsets the effects of stress and normalizes reproductive hormones. Benefits of Acupuncture o A safe and almost painless form of infertility treatment even for women with failed IUI/IVF attempts, it can also be performed without the support of invasive procedures or drugs with no fear of side effects o A fraction of the cost of IUI/IVF procedures, and can be performed in conjunction with IUI/IVF procedures o Reduces stress levels in women and men – one of the biggest cause of infertility, and improves general wellness and health, thereby increasing chances of conception o A recent German study has shown that Acupuncture increases IVF success rate dramatically from 26% to 42% o A recent Tel Aviv university study reported, “When combining IUI with traditional Chinese medicine treatments, 65.5% of the test group were able to conceive, compared with 39.4% of the control group, who received no herbal or acupuncture therapy” Fertility Treatment at The YinOva Center The highly skilled and professional Acupuncturists and Chinese medicine herbalists also use a variety of other natural techniques in your journey to conception.
