Young Rewired State is a week-long hack event for young people held across multiple UK locations each year, where participants work in teams to code projects on various topics using open data. Participants learn new coding and presentation skills, regardless of experience level, and present their projects at the end for review by industry, government, and press. Mentors are available to help teams through the process and guide them in developing concepts, overcoming challenges, and learning new technical skills through hands-on projects.

who attends & judges press - bbc/channel4/ newspapers ie Guardian MPs editor of wired magazine didn’t used to think such a big thing, but its proved one of the most enjoyable parts if you’re already a good coder, platform for your skills to a wide range of companies no job interview will be as scary after taking part in something like this :)
