2. Introduction
 Prior to entering the legal profession, Zachary Andrew McEntyre attended
the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, where he earned a bachelor
of arts in history and political science. Currently a partner at King &
Spalding, LLP, Zachary Andrew McEntyre also attended the Mercer
University, Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia, where he
was Articles Editor of the Mercer Law Review.
Edited by Mercer University law students, the Mercer Law Review has been
published by the school since 1949. This makes it the oldest continually-
published law review in the state. The Mercer Law Review publishes
articles written by legal practitioners as well as educators and faculty of the
School of Law. Submissions should include an abstract along with a current
resume and are accepted through the Scholastica and Expresso sites. In
addition to legal articles, the law review publishes an annual survey of
Georgia law along with an annual Eleventh Circuit survey.
Recently, Cathy Cox, former editor-in-chief of the Mercer Law Review and
the president of Young Harris College, was appointed dean of Mercer Law
School. Cathy Cox graduated magna cum laude from Mercer Law School in
1986.
