The stacker: Basically the stacker find the rack location & place platters. Locations
are identifying by unique digit. Manually check the particular list. Stacking tools are
lifts, stackers and reach-trucks.
Indent to the DC
The Distribution center receives order from stores when double order point is reached for a
particular stock keeping unit. Reorder points ensure by Minimum Bin Quantity. After reaching to
MBQ than indent generate to the Distributions Centre.
Pack list:
Pack list has contain some details like

Despatch:
In this racks items are ready to be dispatched to the store. The despatches are given to
transportation department for inbound or outbound transportation for dry DC.
Operations in Wet DC:
In Wet DC stage there is different stage to for the problem of storage. On the other hand dry DC
store management are not deals with so many different stage. Most of the time cross docked
system is followed. When items are arrived suppliers are received by CPC (City collection
Centre).Up to 3 am suppliers receives the product. Bar codes are scanned to the store. The
loading is done in crates. Each of crates contains 10kg weight. Then it sends to WMS. Non cross
docked items are sending into cold storage section to keep the items at standardized temperature.
After that transportation department carry the outbound activities of the Wet DC.
Different from dry goods stores Management
Wet goods store management are associated with fresh goods, wet goods store management are
keep in humid temperatures.
