Zafrira and Jan Rooijackers developed a 'Store Pickup' module for Magento Community
edition that enables a new shipping method to be activated for your customers. When
activated your customers will be able to choose 'Store Pickup' as a shipping method.
When your customer did select this method he or she will also be able to choose an
additional payment method: Pay at Pickup in Store.
This last option can be disabled seperate from the shipping method, and it will not show up
when the customer does not select the Store Pickup as a shipping method.
The name that will be displayed to your
customers is 'Store Pickup' by default, but can
easily be changed through the backend of your
store into your own desired name. This way you
are able to use it in any language you wish.
