"THE BEST AMONGST YOU IS ONE
WHO LEARNS THE QUR'AN AND
WHO TEACHES IT"-

(HADITH REPORTED BY BUKHARY)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And recite to them, [O Muhammad], the news of him
to whom we gave [knowledge of] Our signs, but he
detached himself from them; so Satan pursued him, and
he became of the deviators.”
(Qur’an: A’raf: 7: 175 )


“And if We had willed, we could have elevated him
thereby, but he adhered [instead] to the earth and
followed his own desire. So his example is like that of
the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him,
he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who
denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they
will give thought.”
(Qur’an: A’raf: 7: 176 )


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ And cooperate (help one another) in righteousness ( AL-BIRR)
and piety (AT-TAQWA), but do not cooperate (help) in sin
(ITHM) and (‘UDWAN) aggression (hostility). And fear Allah;
indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.”
(Qur’an: Maa-idah : 5: 2)

“ BIRR ” – (has the meanings of) :
reverence, piety; righteousness, probity; godliness;
kindness; upright; honest; truthful ; devoted; etc.


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“It is not righteousness that you turn your faces
towards the East and the West, … ”
(Qur’an: Baqarah: 2: 177)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. but righteousness is this that one should
believe in Allah and the last day and the angels
and the Book and the prophets ..”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. and give away wealth (MAAL) out of love for Him
(HUB-BULLAAH) to the near of kin (QURBA) and the
orphans (AYTAM) and the needy (MASAAKEEN) and the
wayfarer (IBNU SABEEL) and the beggars (SAA-ILEEN)
and for (the emancipation of) the captives (RIQOB), ..”

“ Never will you attain the good [reward] – TANAALU AL-BIRR
- until you spend [in the way of Allah] – IN-FAAQ - from that
which you love (TUHIB-BUN). And whatever you spend -
indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.”
(Qur’an: Aali ‘Imran:3: 92)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. and keep up prayer (SWOLAH) and pay the
poor-rate (ZAKAH); ..”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. and the performers of their promise (‘AHD)
when they make a promise, ..”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. and the patient (SwOBR) in distress and
affliction and in time of conflicts - ...”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. - these are they who are (SwODAQU) true (to
themselves) ...”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“ .. and these are they who guard (against evil) –
AL-MUT-TAQUN.”


ADDENDUM

IN THE NAME OF ALLAH
MOST COMPASSIONATE
MOST MERCIFUL

AL- HAM-DU-LIL -LAA-HI - ROB-BIL - ‘AA- LA-MEEN
WAS-SWO-LAA -TU - WAS-SALAA-MU - ‘ALAA- RO-SUU-LIL-LAAH

All the Praises belongs to Allah, Lord (Sustainer) of the worlds.
Salutations and Peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,


MUHAM-MAD – IB- NU - ‘AB – DIL-LAAH
WA – ‘ALAA – AA – LI-HI - WA - SWOH – BIHI - WA - MAN –
TABI - ’AHU – WA WAA - LAH
Muhammad, son of ‘Abdullah;
and upon his Household and Companions,
and all who follow and are loyal to him
(and support him in his cause).


ROB-BANAA- AN-FA’-NAA -BI-MAA- ‘AL-LAM-TA-NAA

O our Lord! Make us to benefit from what You have taught us.


ROB-BI –’AL-LIM- NAL- LA-DzEE- YAN-FA- ‘U-NA

O Lord! Teach us whatever that is beneficial for us.


ROB-BI –FAQ-QIH-NAA -WA -FAQ-QIH – AH-LA-NAA

O Lord! Grant upon us profound understanding,
(as also grant upon) our family members.
.


WA –QO-RAA-BAA-TIN-LA-NAA -FEE -DEE-NI-NAA
MA-’ A -AH-LIL-QUTw-RI- UN-THA - WA DzA-KAR

And also to those in the Faith who are close to us ,
Amongst fellow citizens, the female and the male.


ALLAA-HUM-MAJ- ’AL-NAA - HAA-DEE-NAA - MUH-TA-DEEN

O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others) and
who are (always) guided (by Your Guidance) .


GHOY-RA- DwAA-L-LEE-NA WA LAA- MU-DwIL-LEEN

Not of those who are astray and who lead people astray.


ALLAA-HUM - MAH-DI-NAA BI – HU-DAAK

O Allah! Guide us all with Your Guidance.


WAJ-’AL-NAA MIM-MAN - YU-SAA - RI-’U – FEE - RI-DwAAK

And make us people who hasten towards what pleases You.


WA- LAA TUWAL-LI-NAA - WA-LIY-YAN SI-WAAK

And do not let us be protected (by others) except
only with Your Protection (as our Guardian).


WA- LAA TAJ-’AL –NAA - MIM-MAN - KHAA-LAFA
AM-RAKA WA- ‘A- SwAAK

And do not make us to be of those who differ from
Your command and are disobedient towards You.


WA- HAS - BU-NALLAA-HU - WA NI’-MAL - WA-KEEL

And sufficient is Allah for us, for He is the Best Protector.


WA- LAA HAW- LA -WA –LAA -QUW-WATA - IL-LAA
BIL-LAA – HIL - ‘ALEE-YIL - ‘A-ZEEM

And there is no power nor strength except with Allah
The Most High, the Most Esteem.


WA- SwOL-LALLAA-HU- ‘ALAA SAY-DI-NAA - MUHAMMADIN
WA ‘ALAA – AA-LIHI -WA SwOH-BI-HI - WA-SAL-LAM

And salutations of Allah and Peace be upon our
Leader Muhammad, and upon His household
and Companions .


WAL-HAM- DU-LIL-LAA-HI - ROB- BIL - ‘AA – LA - MEEN

And all the Praises is for Allah, Lord Sustainer of all the worlds.
