“The best amongst you are those who learn
the Qur’an and who teach it (to others).”

(Hadith reported by Bukhary)


“Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and
stand steadfast as thou art commanded nor follow thou
their vain desires; but say: "I believe in the Book which
Allah has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly
between you. Allah is Our Lord and your Lord. For us (is
the responsibility for) Our deeds, and for you for your
deeds. There is no contention between us and you. Allah
will bring us together, and to Him is (Our) final goal.”
(Qur’an: ash-Shura: 42: 15)


And say: "Work (righteousness): soon will Allah observe your
work, and His Messenger and the Believers: soon will ye be
brought back to the knower of what is hidden and what is open:
then will He show you the truth of all that ye did."
(Qur’an: Taubah: 9: 105)


“And thus have We willed you to be a community of the middle
way (ummatan wasotan) [i.e. justly balanced], so that [with your
lives] you might bear witness to the truth before all mankind
(shuhadaa-a ‘alan-naas) , and the Messenger as a witness over
you.“
(Qur’an: al- Baqarah: 2:143)


“DO MEN THINK that on their [mere] saying, “We have
attained to faith”, they will be left to themselves, and
will not be put to a test?. Yea, indeed, We did test those
who lived before them; and so, [too, shall be tested the
people now living: and] most certainly will Allah mark
out those who prove themselves true, and most certainly
will He mark out those who are lying.“
(Qur’an: Ankabut: 29: 2-3)


“BEHOLD, Allah has bought of the believers their lives and
their possessions, promising them paradise in return, [and
so] they fight in Allah's cause, and slay, and are slain: a
promise which in truth He has willed upon Himself in [the
words of] the Torah, and the Gospel, and the Qur'an. And
who could be more faithful to his covenant than Allah?
Rejoice, then, in the bargain which you have made with
Him: for this, this is the triumph supreme!”
(Qur’an: Taubah: 9: 111)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Those who [truly] believe in Allah and the Last Day do not
ask thee for exemption from struggling with their possessions
and their lives [in Allah's cause]-and Allah has full knowledge
as to who is conscious of Him-:”
(Qur’an : Taubah: 9: 44)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“only those ask thee for exemption who do not [truly] believe
in Allah and the Last Day and whose hearts have become a
prey to doubt, so that in their doubting they waver between
one thing and another.”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“For, had they been [truly] desirous of setting out [with thee], they would
surely have made some preparation therefor: but Allah was averse to their
taking the field, and so He caused them to hold back when it was said,
"[You may] stay at home with all [the others] who stay at home."”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Had these [hypocrites] set out with you, [O believers,] they would have
added nothing to you save the evil of corruption, and would surely have
scurried to and fro in your midst, seeking to stir up discord among you,
seeing that there are in your midst such as would have lent them ear: but
Allah has full knowledge of the evildoers.”

MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Indeed, even before this time have they tried to stir up discord and
devised all manner of plots against thee, [O Prophet,] until the truth
was revealed and Allah's will became manifest, however hateful this
may have been to them.”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And among them there was [many a one] who said," Grant me
permission [to remain at home], and do not put me to too hard a test!"
Oh, verily, [by making such a request] they had [already failed in their
test and] succumbed to a temptation to evil: and, behold, hell will
indeed encompass all who refuse to acknowledge the truth!”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Should good fortune alight on thee, [O Prophet,] it will grieve them;
and should misfortune befall thee, they will say [to themselves], "We
have already taken our precautions beforehand!" - and will turn away,
and will rejoice.”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Say: "Never can anything befall us save what Allah has decreed!
He is our Lord Supreme; and in Allah let the believers place their trust!”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Say: "Are you, perchance, hopefully waiting for something
[bad] to happen to us [the while nothing can happen to us]
save one of the two best things? But as far as you are
concerned, we are hopefully waiting for Allah to inflict
chastisement upon you, [either] from Himself or by our
hands! Wait, then, hopefully; behold, we shall hopefully
wait with you!”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Say: "You may spend [anything], willingly-or unwillingly,
[pretending that you do it for the sake of Allah:] it shall never be
accepted from you -for, verily, you are people bent on iniquity!"”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“For, only this prevents their spending from being accepted
from them: they are bent on refusing to acknowledge Allah
and His Messengeer, and never pray without reluctance, and
never spend [on righteous causes] without resentment. “


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“Let not, then, their worldly goods or [the happiness which they may
derive from] their children excite thy admiration: Allah but wants to
chastise them by these means in this worldly life, and [to cause] their
souls to depart while they are [still] denying the truth.”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And they swear by Allah that they do indeed belong to you the
while they do not belong to you, but are [only] people ridden by
fear : if they could but find a place of refuge, or any cavern, or a
crevice [in the earth], they would turn towards it in headlong haste.”
(Qur’an : Taubah: 9: 56-57)


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And among them are such as find fault with thee [O Prophet]
concerning [the distribution of] the offerings given for the sake of Allah:
if they are given something thereof, they are well-pleased; but if they
are not given anything thereof, lo! they are consumed with anger.”


MOST COMPASSIONATE,
MOST MERCIFUL.

“And yet, [it would be but for their own good] if they were to content
themselves with what Allah has given them and [caused] His Messenger
[to give them], and would say, “Allah is enough for us! Allah will give us
[whatever He wills] out of His bounty, and [will cause] His Messenger [to
give us, too]: verily, unto God alone do we turn with hope!"”


”All praise is due to Allah, who has guided us unto this;
for we would certainly not have found the right path
unless Allah had guided us!”

“O Allah! Make us see the Truth to be true and grant us the
ability to follow it.
And make us see Falsehood to be false and grant us the
ability to reject it.”


“O our Sustainer! Bestow on us grace from Thyself, and
endow us, whatever our [outward] condition, with
consciousness of what is right!"”


"Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have
forgotten or erred.
Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which
You laid upon those before us.
Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no
ability to bear.
And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us.
You are our protector, so give us victory over the
disbelieving people."


O our Lord! Make us to benefit from what You have taught us.
O Lord! Teach us whatever that is beneficial for us.


O Allah! Make us to be people who guide (others) and who
are (always) Guided (by Your Guidance) .


Not of those who are astray and
who lead people astray.


O Allah! Guide us all
with Your Guidance.


And make us people who hasten
towards what pleases You.


And do not let us be protected (by others) except only
with Your Protection (as our Guardian).


And do not make us to be of those who differ from Your
command and who are disobedient towards You.


And sufficient is Allah for us,
for He is the Best Protector


And there is no power nor strength except
with Allah The Most High, the Most Esteem.


And salutations of Allah and Peace be upon our
Leader Muhammad, and upon His household
and Companions .


And all the Praises belongs to Allah,
Lord Sustainer of all the world
