3. Where they live in the wild?
• Hills, grasslands, wooded grasslands and close
to the monsoon forest.

• Wealthy places that has salt licks and other
resources that they need.

4. Their habits and life
• Kouprey’s are herbivores.
• Grass, leaves and other herbs and vegetables.
• They eat usually at night
• Eat during night time.
• lives in herds of 20 with mixed group (bulls, cows
etc.)
• Their life span is about 25 years in the wild.
5. Why Kouprey’s are endangered?
• hunting them for their skull and horns
• Skull and horns can use for decoration. It is a
very common decoration that they use.

• They sell the horns and skulls.
6. Changes over time and predictions for
the future
• population has gone down in 1980
• People are still hunting them
• In 2000 the kouprey’s population is increasing
• If this continues, the population of the
kouprey’s will go down again
