                      Lock your launch date early


Don’t wait for code complete to contact reviewers


          Start PR at least 1 month before launch

Leave genuine comments on articles


Get out to conferences and in-person events


Use your network for introductions
Always Try to Build
Relationships First, but, if
 You Do Need to Start a
Conversation Via Email...
Simple, short emails
work best

You have 1-2 sentences to «hook»
the reviewer

Use headings to break the email into sections while describing
your app (formatting helps!)

Include links to the app stores, trailer, visuals, etc.
Never take a «shotgun»
approach – reviewers hate
template emails

Come up with unique angles for each site
based on their readers’ needs

If writing to a specific person – be flattering, tell them you love
and follow their work (you already do... right?)
