This is because of the way the video is presented, its lyrics are rude and the music video is too much
of a bad influence. The age range seems appropriate because the older a teen will be the less they
will be influenced, because they will know better than the younger generation.
4. The gender that this video and song is aimed towards is both male and female, because boys watch for
the 'eye candy' and the female audience watch because they want to be like the other girls. again I think
that this is mainly influencing both genders, because the girls think that that is how they should act.
Though, Males would be the more popular gender watching the video. This is because they are
influenced to think that they should treat women differently, and more importantly, the wrong way.
5. In my opinion I think that there isn't entirely a disposable income for the specific audience. I think this
because the audience either doesn't have a job, or has a form of job that doesn't pay. Although, me being a
teenager myself, it is quite difficult to get a disposable income because of the world today. Though late
teens can have somewhat of a disposable income because of apprenticeships and they receive pay for
doing jobs at home.
6. In my opinion, Religious audiences would immediately turn away from this video and its lyrics as soon as
the first sentence is sung. This is because the lyrics in this would be classed as a sin towards them and
their religion. Firstly it shows women with a huge lack of clothing, which, also is a sin towards Christians,
since they believe the more clothes worn, the more close to god.
7. This music video seems quite offensive towards certain ethnicities, since it might not be how they are.
Although the video does show people of different skin tone, it shows various ethnicities but in a
westernized view, such as the richer parts of countries. Like America, Britain etc. whereas poorer parts of
places cannot afford to see.
8. 'Blurred lines would be popular from all over the world. It'd be famous everywhere because it is catchy,
influencing and children think it is part of the new trend for music. It is played everywhere from towns,
cities, seaside leisure's, countryside and countries all around.
9. The main specific interests for audiences watching this music video is so they know the clothing trends,
make-up trends and hairstyle trends. Although, trends have changed through the years so kids think that
the skimpy trends in the video are something that they would want to have. Also, speech is big in this. the
video shows how there would be certain ways for a man to speak to a woman.
10. The video in my opinion is ruining peoples life ambitions, because children now are trying to make
themselves look as much like the celebrities as possible, which is bad because of the revealing clothing
and bright make-up.
