Job Title: Manager – ENP IT, Duration: Aug 2007 – Till Date

Reliance Info Solutions Pvt. Ltd. has been formed as the IT arm of Reliance Industries Ltd.
The company provides IT infrastructures support i.e. software, hardware & network to
Reliance Industries Ltd. & leads in large scale infrastructure projects & application
developments.
Functional Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for planning, setup, configuration & implementation of new projects for Oil
& Gas department. Actively involved in providing day to day maintenance & operation
support for applications, databases, Windows OS, patches & new version of application
software, & planning hardware up gradation as per vendor’s suggestion & requirements.
2. Currently working as IT coordinator (Business & Infrastructure Specialist) for Shale Gas
(USA JVs) & CBM (Coal Bed Methane) (India) Projects/Operations, which involves new
Technology selections, Vendor meets, Business requirements gathering, Transforming IT
Solutions to Business requirements, co-ordination with Business Users, Management &
Contractor. Actively involved in IT operations.
3. Provided overseas IT support at Kurdistan, Iraq for two months and at Dili, East -Timor
for one month.
4. IT supports for Petroleum–E&P Business Technical applications used in Reservoir,
Geology & Geophysicist, International Business Department viz. Schlumberger’s Petrel,
Eclipse, PipeSim, TechLog. Paradigm’s GoCad, SysDrill, Weatherford’s EPS package,
Petroleum Expert’s MBAL, Invensys’s Inplant, Pipephase, Hysis, Landmark’s DSS, Aries.
Other vendor’s applications viz. ArcGIS (ESRI), Flaresim, SACS, OLGA, PVT Sim, CMG,
Questor Onshore & Offshore, MESA, MAROS etc. Drilling applications viz. Drillworks,
Osprey Reporting. Co-ordination with third party vendors located in various countries for
upgradation & troubleshooting of applications.
5. All above applications work mostly on FlexLM based N/W license or standalone license
using parallel or USB port dongle working on Sentinel, Code Meter or HASP Driver.
Troubleshooting of license issues, monitoring of FlexLM based license using third party
tools like ‘JTB Flex Reporting’ or freeware tools based on Linux & PHP. Co-ordination
with vendor for license configuration & troubleshooting.
6. Planning & implementation of SQL & Oracle DB servers for Technical applications DBs
viz. SQL for (Kingdom Suites, Peloton, Aries) & Oracle 10g for ArcGIS etc.
7. IT Support for Project & Planning tools Primavera, Project & Risk Expert. This involves
