Donate Life Vermont has made February 23, 2011 the official day to make a HUGE change in Vermont by increasing the number of organ and tissue registrants in the state!! 4. The Drivers License Misconception Many Vermonters have the misconception that if they sign the back of their driver’s license, that they are an organ donor. This is not entirely true. Must remember: many times when an individual is in an accident, the drivers license rarely makes it to the emergency room.

5. The Importance of Registering Online at www.DonateLifeVT.org By registering on our state’s online registry, it becomes legally binding and the Vermonter can be assured that their wishes will be respected.

6. Make History on February 23rd, 2011 Donate Life Vermont has organized a state-wide mass registration event called the Register Rally. We are asking Vermont residents to help us make history by registering to become an organ and tissue donors on February 23 and getting their friends, family, and co-workers to do the same.
