Registration
Registration for all MSU, TAMU and Ole Miss students will be held on-line. All students must
furnish a copy of their on-line registration form to the Graduate Institute, and Corps employees
must furnish a copy of their approved purchase request (SF 182) to the Graduate
Institute. All “classified” MSU students must obtain a RAC (Registration Access Code) from
their advisor before registering for class. “Unclassified” students should contact Rita Burrell at
662-325-5923 or email her at rburrell@bagley.msstate.edu. (Please have your 9 digit MSU ID
number, course number and course name before you contact Rita Burrell and be sure you
have met your pre-requisites.) You are encouraged to register by August 2, 2012 to
ensure classes will make.

Registration for Ole Miss will require a “one-time” application fee of $40.00. GRE is not
required for “non degree” seeking applicants. It is highly recommended for “degree” seeking
applicants, however, it can be waived.

Requests to withdraw from a course must be submitted in writing to the Director, Graduate

Cloud computing is a relatively new phenomenon that provides for distributed computing and
data storage capabilities. Instead of buying large servers to store data and being saddles with the
cost of building and maintaining those systems, users can now purchase those servers from a
third party with the ability to expand or contract those needs as necessary. Course will look at
current research results in clud secrutiy in order to identify opportunities for continued research
in this field.

Course will cover fundamentals of thermal radiation and radiative properties, radiative exchange

solution for one-dimensional gray media, approximate solution methods for one-dimensional
media, the method of spherical harmonics (Pn-Approximation) and discrete ordinances (Sn-
Approximation).

Registration Registration for all MSU, TAMU and Ole Miss students will be held on-line. All students must furnish a copy of their on-line registration form to the Graduate Institute, and Corps employees must furnish a copy of their approved purchase request (SF 182) to the Graduate Institute. All “classified” MSU students must obtain a RAC (Registration Access Code) from their advisor before registering for class. “Unclassified” students should contact Rita Burrell at 662-325-5923 or email her at rburrell@bagley.msstate.edu. (Please have your 9 digit MSU ID number, course number and course name before you contact Rita Burrell and be sure you have met your pre-requisites.) You are encouraged to register by August 2, 2012 to ensure classes will make. Registration for Ole Miss will require a “one-time” application fee of $40.00. GRE is not required for “non degree” seeking applicants. It is highly recommended for “degree” seeking applicants, however, it can be waived. 1

Dampier, MSU Cloud computing is a relatively new phenomenon that provides for distributed computing and data storage capabilities. Instead of buying large servers to store data and being saddles with the cost of building and maintaining those systems, users can now purchase those servers from a third party with the ability to expand or contract those needs as necessary. Course will look at current research results in clud secrutiy in order to identify opportunities for continued research in this field.
