what you can expect with this year’s technology workshops:

A new five-year period to obtain Act 48
credit hours began on July 1, 2010. You
can easily obtain credit hours by attending WSSD technology workshops at NO
COST. Similar workshops offered by the DCIU now cost $65.00 a session.
Differentiated Workshops – In response to inquiries about workshop meeting
times, I’m offering three types of workshops this year:
o Universal – These workshops are building-specific and held afterschool. They focus on
communication and presentation technologies used throughout district – the meat and
potatoes.
o Collaborative – These workshops are open to middle and high school teachers and are
also held afterschool. They focus on instructional strategies and technology integration
that will enhance your lessons and curricula – the goodies.
o Lunch ‘n’ Learn – These workshops are designed to share instructional technologies
that are quick to learn and easy to use in your next class - the highlights.
