Reflection: Business Writing Portfolio Part III
The business writing within this assignment communicated with several individual
groups. In many cases it is necessary to project negative subject matters into positive bullets to
ease the reader into comfortably accepting the facts.
Academic Writing Objective
In any case in academic writing the objective is to take a position to state facts in support
of the position to argue a point of view. Academic writing emphasizes the importance in taking
a position using clear, concise, and correct relevant literature to retain the reader’s attention. The
argumentative position should communicate a case to conclude with positive persuasion
resulting in winning over readers to side with the writer or writers.
Communicating The Facts
In case studies, gathering information for analysis and applying academic theories toward
the information collection is the only point of view I considered in the past academically. This is
my first exposure communicating factual information three different ways among three different
stakeholder groups.
Reflection Conclusion
I believe morally positive about the facts communicated among the stakeholders for
greater long-term benefit. I have a duty to present ethically truthful facts from the deontological
ethical perspective. I believe in the importance in remaining truthful continually beyond myself,
especially when involving myself in public relations. I feel; however, I am traveling on the
correct moral path when my presentation possesses facts and not lies.
