in time for spring maintenance season
Plan safeguards home systems from unexpected repair costs
Toronto, ON – With spring now here, Europ Assistance (EA) Canada is helping homeowners start
the season right with a two month rebate on new enrolments to their popular Home Assurance
Program.
“Spring is a time when many people turn their thoughts to home maintenance,” says Brad Loder,
Director of Marketing, EA Canada. “Our program, which offers complete emergency repair and
protection services for home heating and cooling systems, plumbing, electrical, and appliances, is
the perfect partner for a regular home maintenance plan.”
EA Canada’s Home Assurance Program provides 24 hour, 365 days-a-year emergency service
and repairs. Most importantly, the program covers all the costs that come along with any repairs.
“The plan eliminates the worry of unexpected home repair costs, and now with the addition of the
two month rebate, offers a real advantage for the homeowner with a keen eye on the budget,”
stated Loder.
Gaining Popularity with Real Estate and Mortgage Brokers
The Home Assurance Program is gaining popularity across Ontario. Several real estate and
mortgage brokers in Ontario are using it as a sales incentive, offering the program, at no charge, to
new homebuyers and new mortgage clients. On the corporate front, EA Canada is exploring ways
for Ontario companies to add the program to their employee benefit packages.
“With the average home repair bill hovering around $600, the Home Assurance Program could be a
popular benefit option for employees looking to protect themselves from unexpected home repair
costs,” said Loder.
Furnace Maintenance
Recently, EA Canada added regular annual furnace maintenance to the program. In Canada, the
average bill for repairs to neglected furnaces averages about $800.
“Now program participants can schedule annual furnace maintenance as part of their spring
cleaning, ensuring their furnaces are well maintained.” added Loder.
The EA Canada Home Assurance Program provides 24 hour, 365 days-a-year emergency service
and repairs to the vital systems in your home such as furnaces, including annual furnace
maintenance, central air conditioners, water heaters, plumbing and drains, electrical, kitchen, and
laundry appliances. The program covers all the costs that come along with any repairs.
