3. Evidence for e-safety – so what!!??
- Virtually all schools provide an extensive programme of e-safety
to students, staff and parents
- We need to make sure that students especially understand the
risks
- Lessons in ICT or other lessons:
- ICT lessons, monitor of progress and assessment of lessons is
a natural part of lessons
- Other lessons, ICT and safety is part of the standard lesson
plan so information about it is recorded and able to be
analysed (e.g. digital literacy and critical use of the internet)
4. Evidence for e-safety
- Whole year group messages:
- An assembly week may address all year groups, but it is
essential that the message is altered to be relevant to each
year groups. 11 year olds are very different to 18 year olds!!
- Ask the Police – a message from them can hit home harder.
- Frog to the rescue!! Forms, quizzes, social networking for
learning helps me to evidence that students understand the
messages they get.
5. Quiz following from assembly – with bribes!!
