Overall • All projects have some activities that may need support beyond 2014 • In the wheat product catalogue one product deleted and several added (14) • Sources for documentation identified and actions set against names to provide data to IBP • Agreed that a more detailed costing of activities to be completed to be provided mid October to provide the basis of a plan going forward.

DH derived lines from MABC from crosses of HD2967 with Babax, Excalibur and Krichauff

Developed using MABC targeting QTL for stem water soluble carbohydrates and thousand kernel weight using 2 SSR markers (depending on 2013 results). Zongmai36 Extensive phenotype of 145 lines evaluated at 4 locations for heat and drought in China SSR markers for major QTL for plant height and drought tolerance in Chinese elite lines.

Breeder friendly high-throughput phenotyping tools to select for wheat adaptive traits in drought environments Activities beyond 2014 (or requiring additional resources) Method combining image capture and crop simulation modelling to estimate patterns of WU and Transpiration Efficiency throughout the growth cycle Environment characterization of key locations in India & China using historical weather records to estimate most probable in season stress occurrences (new activity)
