Potential of rural turism in romania
1.
2. The tourism industry plays an important role in the world economy,
and is generally acknowledged to represent a significant source of
economic growth for the European Union. In the present Romanian
tourism losing the competitiveness face to demand of international
market, moreover tourism contribution to the growth of the national
economy is very low. This paper presents aspects of the rural tourism
and analyses the Romanian tourism potential that holds a giant
attractive heritage and Romanian rural tourism creates the conditions
for preservation of structural and spiritual identity of the Romanian
village. Modern human preferences are increasingly to rural tourism,
because the villages are more accessible, more beautiful and original
than many resorts suffer from smoothing.
3. Bucovina, cradle of ancient civilization, where
history blends with legend, is known primarily
for the tourism aspect famous churches with
exterior frescoes - UNESCO heritage: Moldova,
Sucevita, Voronet, Humor. No less important in
terms of architectural and historic monasteries
Putna, Neamt, Dragomirna.
Folk architecture is absolutely unique and original.
Verandas offer real wood embroidery, doors and
window frames, Fantine, gates and fences. Add to these
outdoor decorations with stylized floral and geometric
motifs or colored, mostly in villages in the valley
Golden Bistrita, of which the best known is Ciocanesti.
Art fabrics and stitching, Easter eggs painting with
geometric splendid miniatures, manufacture costumes
with beads and embroidery marten fur are undeniable
treasure of folk art Bucovina.
4. Maramureș is one of the better-known
regions of Romania, with autonomous
traditions since the Middle Ages - but
still not very much visited. Its well-
preserved wooden villages and
churches, its traditional lifestyle, and
the local colourful dresses still in use
make Maramureș as near to a living
museum as can be found in Europe.
The Maramureș churches are high timber
constructions with characteristic tall,
slim bell towers at the western end of the
building. They are a
particular vernacular expression of
the cultural landscape of this mountainous
area of northern Romania.
5. Travelers can spend three or more days
exploring its passages, teaming with
the highest concentration of bird
colonies in all of Europe. The maze of
canals bordered by thatch, willows
and oaks entangled in lianas, offers
the perfect breeding ground for
countless species of birds, some of
them from as far away as China and
Africa. Millions of Egyptian white
pelicans arrive here every spring to
raise their young, while equal
numbers of Arctic geese come here to
escape the harsh winters of Northern
Europe.
