• How colors are used in communication?
• How colors are used to attract customers
to products and service?
• How can one create brand using color?
Solution
• Colors are an out come of evolution, which
lead to our survival in the past.
• We see red as Danger and Green as OK.
• We love Blue color and We are afraid of
Black/Dark.
Solution...
• Red stimulate alertness which is why Mac
Donalds use Red as back Ground
subliminally asking their customers to eat
quickly.
• Blue is used by IBM and SBT, in fact
SBTs Blue is not accident but a
reinforcement of the trust in their tagline "
A Long tradition of trust"
What if MacDonalds change color?
Conclusion
• 60% of all the information we take from
our senses are visual.
• Color vision enable us to identify our world
in all its complexity.
• Effective use of colrs helps marketers to
communicate and sell products and ideas
better.
