Overview of the Walk For Good Corporate Walking challenge.
Mambo Health Gaming, is a new venture promoting healthy living through social gaming. Our product, MamboWalk, is an online team walking challenge that provides the incentive to start and stick with a daily walking program.
This September we are organizing a corporate walkathon called Walk for Good in which teams compete in a virtual walk across Asia following the famous Silk Road using the MamboWalk technology. Participants track and record their daily step count over a two month period, earning points for prizes and getting fit along the way.
As an added incentive to keep people engaged, we’re raising money for The Bob Woodruff Foundation (www.remind.org), a national nonprofit that helps ensure our nation’s injured service members, veterans and their families return to a homefront ready to support them. Bob and his wife Lee were classmates of mine at Colgate University.
My goal is to bring the business community together in a fun and competitive event to get healthy and raise funds for a worthy cause, while highlighting the benefits of the MamboWalk program for improving participant engagement.
