About JIMS
Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS, Rohini) was started in the year 1993 under the aegis of Jagan Nath
Gupta Memorial Educational Society and is currently among the top management institutes of Delhi-NCR.We impart
professional education both at post graduate and undergraduate levels in the fields of management and information
technology. Our PGDM program is approved by the AICTE and is accredited from NBA for excellence in quality
education. It has also been granted equivalence to MBAdegree by theAIU.We offer two sector specific two-year, full
time programmes namely PGDM (International Business) and PGDM (Retail Management). Both these programmes
are approved byAICTE. JIMS, Rohini, also offers technical programs viz BBA, BCA& MCAaffiliated to GGSIPU.

Introduction
The business world has been a playground of VUCA traits ever since businesses expanded their indulgences beyond
single products and markets. However, the recent times have experienced a never-seen-earlier kind of volatility,
uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity for businesses. Economic, political, technological, societal and ecological
factors have evolved and continue to take unpredictable turns in the globalized and now increasingly de-globalized
world.Whatshould bedoneinsuchanenvironment?Strategizefor sure!
The judicious response lies in carefully designing strategies in the areas of marketing, human resource management and
finance that enable a planned confrontation of the unfriendly business environment. Thinkers and management experts
believe that without turning backs on the traditional tools, innovative and situation-based solutions must be explored as
anongoingmission.
Objective
Decisions that are based on treating theVUCAtraits as the same are more likely to result in under performances and poor
achievements. Understanding the environmental traits as distinct yet interdependent, unavoidable yet tamable,

Fees
The participation fees can be transmitted via cheque or draft
drawn in favour of "Jagan Institute of Management
Studies" payable at New Delhi. The same should be paid to

Boardingand Lodging
Participants from outside Delhi/ NCR region shall be
provided boarding and lodging facilities in hotels near the
venueor in JIMS girlshostel.

Original, unpublished papers or case studies reflecting on
any of the sub themes are invited for the conference.
The tracks are only indicative and not exhaustive.
However, the authors may also submit papers on other
relevant and contemporary topics. Please send your

AbstractSubmission Guidelines
The abstract is limited to 500 words that summarizes the
key components of the research. The abstract must include
the purpose of the research, methodology adopted,
results, keywords and major conclusions. Along with
the abstract, the authors are also requested to submit their
brief biography (Name, Designation, Affiliation, Research
areas,Email-id,ContactNumber,Address).

Full papers would be invited for the selected abstracts only.
The word limit for full paper is 5000 words, other
guidelines remaining the same. These papers/ cases will be
blind reviewed and evaluated on their originality, focus,
learning, clarity and over all presentation. The Reviewer
