Lead Generation is one of the phases of telemarketing. It refers to the creation or generation of leads from a potential customer interest into a business’ services or products. 
As a telemarketer, you have to be equipped with several strategies to approach your prospective customer and make him say ‘yes’! 
Surely, no telemarketer has never experience to be rejected. Rejection is part of the process but it doesn’t end there. From rejection, the learning should begin.

But it might be pleasant, though. All you have to do is to set aside all the negativity and focus on positive thoughts only so you can bring about positive results.
Halo Effect Affects Lead Generation 
Don’t underestimate the power of attraction. In fact, attraction certainly affects another person by making or changing his overall perception towards another person. This is done by the so-called “Attraction’s halo effect”. 
People who are attractive automatically perceived as kind, intelligent, and trustworthy. Halo effect makes a person likes the other person in spite of all the “unpleasant characteristics” about him/her. That person will just mind the “pleasant characteristics” he/she have seen that attracts him/her in the first place. 
It does not only apply to people who’s looking for a lover. It works at your job too, just so you know. Being attractive enables you to draw people to you. But if you’re thinking now like, “what if you don’t look good enough”? 
Studies show that handsome and beautiful people are better in persuading people. But, attraction is more than that. Notice that in lead generation, voices that dispatch from the phone are the most important ones. 
If you can make an awesome impression that lasts to your prospective customers right away, then use it to build a strong relationship with them.
No matter how they’re tired to all your gabbles, but they like you, (thanks to halo effect) they would still mind to listen to you. That gives you the chance to present the value and benefits of the product or services to them, which is an effective thing to do to achieve leads. 
Research says that, the harder a salesperson try to sell, the more the customers refuse. Thus, don’t push yourself too much. If you can manage halo-effect well, you can change or manipulate certain circumstances as well. 
To set-up success, attitude and matter of thinking should come in the way. Remember, a positive mindset attracts positive outcome and a successful lead generation.
