O’Reilly vs. Rivera Is it Drunk Driving or Immigration
Drunk Driving Facts About 30 percent of Americans are involved in an alcohol-related crash sometime during their lifetime
Are Youth suffers from Drunk Driving 18-20 year olds are responsible for more than 10 percent of the drunken driving trips in America. If youth is our future we need to try and save them from getting into accidents with drunk drivers
Punishment for Drunk Driving In 2003 about 1 in 135 drivers were arrested for DUI. Thats' about 1.4 million people. One judge in Texas ordered a drunk driver who killed another person to stand on the side of a busy street holding a sign stating that he killed somebody while driving drunk.
Immigration How many undocumented people are currently in the United States? Approximately 11.5 to 12 million people in March 2006.
Do they get good jobs? What kinds of jobs do the undocumented workers hold? They make up a large share of all workers in a few more detailed occupational categories, including 24% of all workers employed in farming jobs, 17% in cleaning, 36% in insulation installation, 29% in roofing and drywall installation, 27% of butchers and other food processing. (All figures refer to March 2005.)
Population Increase Approximately 28.4 million foreign-born people live in the United States, representing 10.4 percent of the U.S. population
Population Prior to the mid-20th century, immigrants came primarily from northwestern Europe (Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, Scandinavia, France) and from Canada. By 1999, there had been a dramatic shift. Over half of the foreign-born population now originated from Latin America. Europe accounts for only 16 percent, and Canada for 3 percent. Only 2% of the foreign-born originated in Africa.
Who Won? O’Reilly Rivera
Who Won? Rivera won because innocent people do not need to die from the hands of a drunk driver, whether that person is an illegal immigrant or a citizen. Young people, Old people, Middle Age people no one should die, everyone’s life should be like gold.
